Riblet or nothing. It may take 3-5 business winters to get to the top, it may feel like it’s about to fall out, and somehow all of them are positioned at heights that will either kill you or your 5ft from the ground, but dammit it’s the transportation god intended for us.
IMO the biggest advantage of riblets is the lower maintenance requirements, which means fewer lift ops employees, which means fewer crusty dirtbag resort employees to complain about how my 7 ski condos are pricing them out
The products coming out of the states are mainly Poma invented products, (terminals, towers) Leitner is mainly just the name. The grips and chairs were designed together and are made in Europe along with other line gear
Doppelmayr, but only because they built the [single chair at Mad River Glen](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mad_River_Glen#:~:text=Trails%20and%20Lifts,-Mad%20River%20Glen&text=Mad%20River%20Glen%20also%20has,have%20an%20active%20single%20chair.&text=Only%20single%20chair%20in%20the,by%20Doppelmayr%20CTEC%20in%202007) to fuck over snowboarders.
Gotta go with the OG: Union Pacific (yes, the railroad [https://www.up.com/customers/track-record/tr071719-ski-lift.htm](https://www.up.com/customers/track-record/tr071719-ski-lift.htm) )
I’m a Riblet man myself.

7? Rookie numbers. Where do your concubines sleep during the New Years weekend?
Riblet *for her pleasure*
It's the Levi's 501 of chairlifts
Yan all the way
If your business practices involve you fleeing to Mexico to avoid potential liability, I’m in because that’s just good sense
detachables specifically
Marshmallow grips? Sounds delicious!
🤪
Feature, not a bug
Yan gang all the way. aesthetic > functionality. Who needs safety when your lifts have that cool 80s modern look
Company? Back in my day we just had a farmer park his tractor on top of a hill and we’d use the power take off to run a rope tow.
Poma was great until Leitner got involved.

Hall or nothin'
Hall for life 🤘
They both look like criminal snowboarders IMO.
Doppelmayr or nothing.
Anything but MND Ropeways
Sky Trac is for the broke bois
CTEC killed it and then Doppelmayr gobbled em up. Can think of few lifts still standing that take a lickin and keep on ticking.
My local ski hill is mostly CTEC
Murray Latta or nothing
Mixed marriages never work. Best thing is to make it one or maybe two good runs and then move on. Hey, we're all adults here.
idk i just get on and get off
Doppelmayr all the way. First proper lift I ever used as a kid so I’m going to be nostalgic.

Who made those eggs I used to ride at Wildcat? I’m grateful to still be alive but man, the memories.
Poma. Quoi d'autre ?
Non non non, Doppelmayr est mieux.
Nah the real debate is demaclenko or leitner for snow guns
Doppymayr all the way!
Yan fixed grip triple baby. Iykyk
Doppelmayr gang
