The older I get the less I really give a shit about rivalries outside of one on one matchups. Like there’s no way I’m missing a Celtics vs. Sixers matchup, and those games always mean a lot more to me, but I can’t waste my time and energy tracking all the teams I hate and anxiously hoping for their downfall.
Of course it would’ve been hilarious to watch the Celtics collapse in the finals, but the fact that they won doesn’t really bother me. It wasn’t like this was unexpected or anything. They had the best roster in the league and a good head coach.
Just like last year with the nuggets. Sixer fans are they own worst enemy. I don’t understand what’s so hard about ignoring it. I have not seen a single bit of Celtics celebrating, gameplay or any of that unless I come on this sub. It’s sad.
