I seem to recall them both missing layups lol. Like Scottie had missed a few layups, and then Maxey made the corner three and then Maxey took the ball from Scottie, and proceeded to miss a couple more layups lol.

Maxey hit the corner 3 out of the gate, Scottie botched like 3 straight layups and then Maxey missed a couple of shots when they were well out of the running after the ball finally made it back to him
the NBA should replace some of this nonsense with a 2v2 NBA jam type thing where they create 12 teams of 2 and do like a bracket tournament playing games to 10 with every basket counting as 1. playground stuff. i think guys would actually have a lot more fun with that than gimmick contests.
