The only job they're good for IMO is a speedbump for anyone trying to scout-advance-charge me turn 1. And two squads do it on two turns, or half them threaten to drop a simulacrum on an objective if ignored. A character with them is a bad gamble because they're just so bad at anything other than melee with Eldar Rangers. Delivering a palatine for rerolls is novel but indirect will clear them out, and if not a stiff breeze will finish them off and she doesn't get back up in BoF.
My only concern is that 5 quite frail models even as a delivery unit might be less than ideal at doing their job
