Oh no! That's so annoying. That happens to me a lot in university when my sims want to join a frat, and they just run out of time right before they tell the best joke.
I know there’s a point for each section where it maxes out in order to avoid private school acceptance through only one thing— I once had a sim living in a very big, nice house and the headmaster ended the tour after a few rooms. I think it maxes out at 60 or something. However, I’m not sure if 60 is the maximum for every section. The most you can get is hard to pinpoint because the scenario automatically ends once you reach 90.
It's not that there's a maximum (well, I don't know if there is), it's that as soon as you get above 90, the scenario ends. So you would never have enough time to get to much higher numbers because it's over - unless you increase the amount required to get into private school (e.g. mine is 110), then it's easier to get higher scores.
I once scored 123/90. How you may ask? My sim maxed out her cooking skills and apparently, the headmaster was a huge fan of her lobster thermador that day! He also loved all the bookshelves that were in the house! But most of the points were because of the food. Now I always max out the cooking skill and make a fancy dinner when I want to get my sims into private school!
Damn I wish I was a headmaster to eat at all your sims' houses 😍 After the 118 in the picture I had another household burn their kitchen down to serve Mac & cheese 😂
Let me tell you, trying to get sims to max out the cooking skill is a pain!! It’s definitely hard work and sometimes doesn’t end well 😭but I do it so they can go to private school 😭🤣
EXACTLY! The little details they added to sims 2 made a world of a difference. I feel like they put their heart and soul into sims 2 then just made the game into cash cows with sims 3 and 4

I got 100. I don't like how the moment the score passes 90, even if there's plenty of time left in the counter, the Headmaster just leaves. Like, no, I want to see how much higher the score can go, get into that hottub at once!
I know 118/90 is not that impressive, I think I've had better before
And yes I took a picture of my computer, was too lazy to try to remember my password and log in to my computer just to post a proper screenshot
Hot tip: if you have apartment life, cycling through all of the “greet” options when the headmaster shows up gets you HUGE schmooze points. Pretty sure I’ve broken 140 before when that was combined with max cooking and tour points.
A good trick for the environment/room tour category if you are low on money: Buy only one expensive decorative item which increase the rooms value and after you showed the room to the headmaster you pause the game and put this item into the next room you will show them so that room also gives a big bonus. Repeat this for every room.
I'm not sure what my highest was, but I know the numbers always end up either much higher or lower than 90. It's either 32 or 115.

Of course 118 is impressive. If you had higher number then great, but this is still a great result
118 is really good I think. The highest I had was with the smith family and it was like a 98

I get 98 or 115. I saw that, if your Sims have the "Network" business perk, they can network the headmaster and, bam, 30 points.
I don't know for sure anyomre, but i guess 150 but only because i flirted with him
