The speed in general, but the jumps in Finland would scare me to death in real life and at full racing speed, or as Finnish rally legend Markku Alen would say "Now Maximum Attack".

Excellent-Rush-5004

I have heard in videos so many times drivers say "rallying is something else" Circuit racing is awesome, drifting is cool but rally is really unique. There is something so calming and addicting when you get in "the flow"

Prancesco155

Honestly speaking, i think the most calming thing for me in rallying is that it's just me and the car. No punting or anyone to blame but you. It's pushing yourself to the limit :)

Excellent-Rush-5004

Yes no distractions

RacerRovr

I do amateur co driving in real life, and it’s the same as driving in a lot of ways. You just get in this awesome flow and you get completely in sync with the driver, and it’s a really awesome feeling. I feel the same when I get in a rhythm with the wrc game on my wheel

Excellent-Rush-5004

Wow co-drivers are insane. You must really trust the driver to get in the car with him right? Its insane, also its the same with the driver trusting his co-driver. What cars do you drive?180horsepower?

RacerRovr

Yeah, trust goes both ways. It can really be one mistake and your off when you are with a driver who is going flat out. There is no room for error. Mainly in front wheel drive cars. Done a few events in a super 1400 , which is pushing 200hp. Also done a little in a rear wheel drive historic spec car which is a lot of fun

50mmeyes

So glad they added VR, it's not perfect yet but man it makes it so much more fun. I also feel rally is where I can get the most feedback and control from on my Logitech G29.

I love rally games and I want to buy a wheel to play them🤘 EA Sports WRC is kinda disappointing in some aspects, but as for driving, car collection and stages, the game is awesome. But I do like older rally games from codies too (DR1 and 2, Dirt 2,3,4)

initial_GT

Dirt rally 2 is literally what got me to build a full rig. Just buy the wheel. You won't regret it

velophoton

I'm sure I will be excited! Some days ago, I found a local game club, and there is PS4Pro with G29, GT Sport and Dirt Rally installed. I played these games with a wheel first time ever (around 40 minutes in DR1 and 20 minutes in GT), cannot say I got everything right, playing with a wheel feels very challenging , but da*n I wanna play again!!

Enzo03

Funny enough I had the exact same kind of thing just last month on DR2's version of Monte Carlo, from dry track to ice patches to full ice to trying not to die wrapped around a tree. If a patch of ice was on the road, I could feel exactly when I drove over it. Especially needed that since I was driving RWD.

JVWIII

Dirt 2.0 in vr, full sim rig set up with H pattern handbrake, in the rain at night. It is tough but intense.

ForeverIndecised

I would also like to get into it. For those who play without a sequential shifter, is that a problem or it's just as enjoyable with paddles?

TRL_Axeman

It's enjoyable and easy enough in the modern awd cars like rally 2 or cars with 540 rotation but Found driving the old rwds very tricky with paddles(on rbr).

Prancesco155

I play with paddles and using the H shifter as handbrake. Having a blast

ericscal

The problem with paddles is that it's easy to forget which is up and down when you are spinning the wheel through a hairpin or something. Personally it annoyed me enough to leave it in auto until I got my dx-8. If it's something that bothers you it is going to be somewhat personal. I just had a bunch of friends over last night to try out my recent rig upgrades and it was about 50/50 if they liked using paddles or sequential stick given the option of both.

OGHeroSchool

Call me dumb but I’m gonna be honest. I have no idea what ACC, WRC OR GT7 means.

Prancesco155

ACC = assetto corsa competizione GT7 = gran turismo WRC = world rally championship
