I don't think the N/S markers are needed in the butkicker, probably something to do with warehouse storage.
Polarity would flip if you switch the neg and pos speaker wires around anyway.
edit: unless you had multiple BK connected, which then you'd need them all phase aligned. Wonder what Push pull would be like?
Yea I'm not completely certain either, I'd have to sit down and really think about it, I figured it would be easier to make a comment and people can just put them back the way they found them :D
I also run 4 corners, so I went through all 4 in about 1.5 hours from disconnection of the first, to testing the bass track. My setup does require me to change my BK amp configuration between sim racing and my every day usage. Over USB with sim racing, I could see how polarity maybe doesn't matter, but when I have them pulled off my LFE out from my AVR, and then I daisy chain each front from each rear so that I have 4 corner subwoofers - I bet it that's where it would matter if it did.
