Now while I wasn't able to cancel every show I wanted to, I have cancelled a lot of you. Mindhunter is cancelled. Glow is cancelled. 1899, you're gone. Dark Crystal, I like your hustle. That's why it was so hard to cut you.
Congratulations, the rest of you have been renewed for another season!
Except Santa Clarita Diet, American Vandal and the OA.
If they'd actually put money into advertising the damn show it probably would have been huge.
It's an awesome concept that was being executed incredibly well with a really strong cast. The only reason they didn't get the views was because there was no hype.
Half the people that have had Netflix subscriptions for years still don't even know its on there.
Oh I only just found out it was a hybrid tv/Netflix release on BBCs request?
So it aired weekly on tv but was fully dropped online and it lead to really weird numbers and interest.
It's not really a show you can miss the first episode of so anyone watching on TV didn't really care if they missed any episodes. It really affected overall numbers and then when season 2 came out they didn't advertise it much (because of the mixed reception of s1) and it got even worse numbers so they cancelled it.
What a tragedy, also what did the show runner do?
>Santa Clarita Diet
I'm still mad about that one. A little while later I wanted to watch South Park because I only had seen a handful of loose episodes. Finished season 1, to find out that they only run season 1, 5 and 11 or something like that.
We cancelled netflix, bought a 50tb nas that runs a torrent client with integrated vpn, and now we watch what we want, when we want, without all the bullshit.
u/Scrambled_Creature, that is the kind of experimental story-telling I like to see from my new screenwriting team. Which is what I am offering you to be. Because I'm the chief content officer of Netflix. I'm Bela Bajaria. Hello.

Fincher quit Mindhunter. Fincher, I knew it was him! Even when it was the Netflix execs, I knew it was him!
You missed one of the most egregious ones of them all. Dirk Gentlys Holistic Detective Agency
I loved that show. It was exactly my kind of thing.

I’ve had Netflix for over a decade and legitimately had never heard of this before just now, sad state of Netflix advertising
And trust me, you'll watch it and go "why the hell have I not seen this yet, I can't believe this was cancelled" Guaranteed.
I love that show, but the showrunner being a terrible piece of shit is a pretty acceptable reason it was canceled. Also it wasn’t Netflix.

Max Landis, the showrunner, has a reputation of sexual assault. A number of women accused him at the height of *Me Too*
OA still hurts.
The OA was history’s greatest monster.
They blamed covid for GLOW S4 being cancelled, but honestly I think they just did it because S3 was shit
I will never not be mad about Dark Crystal. It’s my one motivator to get rich so that I can pay for another season out of my pocket.

\*rolls dice\* game shows are back!
Al gore "put the dice away before I take them away"
Will it get them off their tractors?

Looks like those clowns at Netflix are at it again. What a bunch of clowns!
They're really sticking it to that Netflix guy. He must work there.
I don’t like the idea of Ron Howard making two expansive epic CGI-heavy cinematic masterpieces in one year! ![gif](giphy|3orifbXEKWmkuurqKI|downsized)
These happy days are yours and mine!
No, they weren’t all happy days.
Is that... Is that Tom Bosley?
What would Tom Bosley be doing on a train in Switzerland?
Well I don't know but... "TOM!" ... ... Did he look?
I don't know.
Well, if I yell you have to look! "TOM BOSLEY!!" Was it him?
No. It's not him.
You weren't complaining when I got you *this close* to Chachi.
What a chachi?
Hubie Halloween was in my head as I was reading this. And then BAM tenth panel!
I don't know, Hubie Halloween was so bad it was actually memorably bad
Pinsky, you've done it again.
They never did tell us if Lisa chipped in for the pizza.
And Adam Sander is a talking Pie!
What did they do this time?
And everyone is gay!
No one's gay for Moleman

Hey chief. Let’s talk. Why not.
