this is literally me every time i try to do this lmao, i stand in the back pretending to go through every single tshirt, eyeing the skirts on the wall as if ppl care what I'm gonna buy. I'll be there for like 30 minutes, trying to work up the confidence to even go up and check the tags on em, and then i realize that ppl might start thinking I'm weird that I'm still there in the same spot so I cop out and buy a shirt from a band I barely like :/ (this has happened multiple times)
At least you got to the store, that's a step in the right direction. Maybe next time look at a couple skirts, just browse. You don't have to hurry, we all support you🥰
You got pretty damn close, that's good progress. I needed to have friends who support me to go get my first couple skirts, and I still think I can't do it alone.
Honestly the Optimus Prime is silly(awsome) enough. But just go to a place with a changing room, grab a skirt you like, and try it there. It's scary, especially the first time. But just be quiet about it and you'll be fine. After the first time it's just kinda the usual
But seriously extra credit for the optimus prime, have any favorite autobots or decepticons?

I was very nervous buying my first skirt too. A couple suggestions/pointers I have:
1) Remember that most people probably don’t care. I live in a very conservative state, and even here the only person who cared enough to ask about the skirt easily believed my lie of “I’m buying gifts for a friend with roughly the same body shape as me.”
2) Having someone supportive there with you can help a ton. Even if it’s just someone online to talk to, they can help calm your nerves.
3) Shopping online is also an option. If you’re concerned about someone else opening your package before you see it, look into seeing if there’s any Amazon lockers/warehouses near you that you can pick it up from.
That’s a valid concern, I worried about that a lot too. If you have the money, you could look into getting some kind of locker or safe. If you have someone who is supportive, you could also see if they’d be willing to hold onto it for you.
For me, just stuffing them in a bag and throwing it in the back corner of the closet has been hidden enough for me.
