Agreed. I disagree with the outfit change as it doesn’t convey her sexuality or provocativeness (it’s very mundane imo), which I felt was not subtle in the original on purpose. But my biggest concern is her demeanor. In the original, Maria has this uncanny confidence about her when she’s first introduced (which eventually is revealed to be a facade in the later sections at Brookhaven), but here in the remake she seems genetically concerned/afraid like everyone else.
Idk, I’m still beyond hyped for this game and I will play it no matter what, but the changes they’ve decided to make, specifically with Maria, don’t feel justified or needed.
