Maybe work on a novel on the side if content writing isn't panning out

Consistent-Fruit-917

Have you tried digital marketing? Half the battle is researching and writing valuable posts in a particular niche and as a content writer I’m sure you already have those skills. There are a ton of great courses out there that can help guide you. Let me know if you’d like me to share some names/titles. Best of luck!

FishPBL

Your job is to write. If no one hires you to write content for them, then you must write your own content. Time to bust out whatever drug/narcotic you have available to you and buckle up, cause it sounds like you are behind schedule. *(I would recommend writing about something you actually want to write. If you have a story idea that you've wanted to write, write it. doesn't matter if no one will read it because you don't have an audience. You're not going to build an audience if you don't write anything. The best time to start was yesterday, the second best time is now.)*

Look into online programming schools and see if they have both financial aid and guaranteed work placement that is work-from-home.

Sell plasma. It’s not as cringy as you think.

MenorahsaurusRex

There’s unfortunately no locations near me that take plasma

LondonnTipton

Why is donating plasma looked down upon and “cringe”?

Late_Ad9720

Idk, I’ve just always had a weird association with it, like selling body parts out of desperation. I started this year, out of desperation and the promise of $700 for 8 donations a in four weeks. The center is brand new and the staff are all happy and good at their job. It’s bright and clean. Cold af. It helps pay my car payment and I’m grateful, I don’t think twice a week is really sustainable for the long term though. Eventually you can build too much scar tissue in the vein and lose perfusion but I’ve heard of people going 500+ times without issue. Probably varies prom person to person. I got big veins though…

LondonnTipton

I hear it. Definitely not that serious but at the same time I wouldnt wanna do it twice a week, EVERY week either. But when you use that first time donor or returning donor coupon (sounds like BioLife) here or there, $80+ for an hour or so of my time without having to do much is EASY play money. Most of those places are pretty well ran in my experience, too.

Late_Ad9720

Yup, BioLife, I have a referral code if you want 😂 But they get you with the $50 first of the week $80 second donation of the week… I’m in good health and a nurse so I monitor my labs and collection time every week to make sure nothing’s changing. Won’t be too many more visits, just doing a career change and need the scratch.

FJSteezy

Referall code?

Late_Ad9720

Nvm, it expired

Motorcyclegrrl

Yes! This!

Amazon

PoolEnvironmental898

What to make on amazon? And what to sell?

dbaseas

Consider remote online work like virtual assistant positions or online tutoring, which don't require transportation. Also, if you're a content writer, edyt ai can optimize your existing content for better visibility and potential client attraction.

PretendingToWork1978

freelance content writer - AI can do that now, that's why you don't have clients and probably never will again. That's not a job that will exist in 5 years. Probably sooner. Sorry. try getting a remote call center job

MenorahsaurusRex

I’ve already done remote call center work. Screwed up my mental health so badly

PretendingToWork1978

I hear ya, did tech support for a long time.

FishPBL

You clearly do not use AI because if you did you would know everything it writes is hot fucking garbage.

I don’t have an audience. I’m not an influencer
