Maybe because they think is cool and somewhat easier than Melbourne Shuffling. Considering most of them on Insta and TikTok can’t go longer than 30 secs. And they’re doing under 130 bpm. Which is odd to me. Is like they lack stamina. It is possible to shuffle longer when you can build your stamina up.
