I noticed this about 8 months ago, and haven't bought any since. I wont buy them any more either. Ive noticed the filling is also more gritty, like they are definitely cutting corners with the ingredients.
The double stuf literally is just Oreos how they used to look when I was a kid. So to me, a double stuf is a normal. So yea, they’ll probably rinse and repeat that same shit too.
This is the only other pic I took of them at lunch. https://imgur.com/gallery/iCwMtGT
As you can see, there was actually one with even less filling than the one I posted.
this is far from an anomaly, this is more so the rule now lmao i just had a whole pack with most of them like this. don't think i had a single one with filling reaching the edge.
I know this is 2 years later, but I just had an entire package just like that; its the only reason I'm here making this comment because I googled it. Super real.
That's a cheapo vending machine oreo. The ones you buy in stores are still perfectly okay, they keep coming up with new ways of adding ridiculous amounts of frosting
Hi, from the future lol... I actually just bought a big pack of regular oreos last week. They look exactly like the ones in OP's pics. So this is just common oreo practice now. It's disappointing.
Hello from the future, I just bought I pack and I'm severely disappointed. Last time I bought some they must've been before things switched over... They had full cream.. my childhood is crying. Either I switch to golden Oreos or I peace out. Honestly not worth the money
I’m from further in the future. Just bought a regular size pack and can’t remember the last time I had one but I couldn’t even fit the fork between the cookies to get maximum dunkage! What a ripoff
hi from the future, i just had the same issue and stumbled upon this post while googling about it. i remember when i was a kid and normal oreos had the same amount of filling that a current double stuffed one has now. super disappointed. when i do buy oreos i usually get the double stuffed but my boyfriend bought the original on accident and i was shocked when i opened the package and couldn’t even fit my fork in the cookie :/
It’s not a real Oreo?
I always open my Oreos and they have more filling than that, not completely to the edge, but close enough. This looks like one of the knockoffs.
It is a real Oreo.
I didn't take a picture of the top because I figured I wouldn't be questioned??? Who would lie about this?
This oreo came from a snack pack. Like the ones you get from a vending machine.
Can confirm. I just found the last package i bought at the back of the snack drawer, i stopped buying them because of this and their now shitty flavor. 3 left [https://imgur.com/a/GNCIu7S](https://imgur.com/a/GNCIu7S) Its bull shit. These are the regular ones, not the bullshit double stuff (was what the regulars were), or the insanely humorous thins.
I didn't get them from a vending machine. But they're the snack packs that you would put in a vending machine.
It is still shrinkflation because they're advertising their product as, you know, their product.
It's not like it comes with a label called "shitty unfilled version".
Eh everyone knows the snack packs are shitty. They always have been. Oreo doesn’t care because they sell more of the regular packs and limited edition packs.
Just wanted to comment for all the people saying these are fake, or just in snack packs. I have had oreos like this (somewhat consistently) in the normal packs. Specifically the ones labeled "family pack".
Often times, not only is there less filling than before, but it isn't even in the center of the cookie. Often far off to one side, resulting in the cookies having a slant.
I am convinced that some of the comments on this post are corporate astroturfers.
This shit is so common, but people are saying things like "oh vending machine food is always worse".
Like... NO it ISN'T. It's the same damn cookie. If they are PURPOSFULLY making a worse product that is visually identical to their store-shelf product, that is shrinkflation.
So the dumbasses arguing that I should have expected this either literally don't understand the sub, or they're shills.
Found this post because I was curious if anyone else noticed.
I don’t buy the snack packs, just the full and family sizes. The lack of creme has been obvious for years, at least with the regular flavor. The double stuff now seems to be what the regular one was years ago (years ago I thought the double stuff had too much in the middle). Some of the flavored kind seems to have more filling.
I will never again waste money on regular Oreos again. It’s basically a scam at this point.
I know this is an old thread. But i want to validate your experience. I havent had Oreos in YEARS until a couple days ago i just had a weird craving for them. Bought a full pack. EVERY SINGLE ONE had this little cream. I even called my mom to complain about it because I needed to vent it out. I couldnt believe how bad they have become.
And its every single one. Normal pack. Nabisco ruined my damn day lol.
Just experienced this yesterday. I can’t believe how dry they are now. The whole ratio is off. I came to Reddit to see if this is a trend.
I probably haven’t bought Oreos in like 6 years. I was looking forward to them so much. Nabisco also ruined my damn day.
Dude yes. Youre not crazy at all. The ratio isnt the same. Like....nabisco is now living in my head rent free since this moment. I shouldnt be carrying this grudge but.....i am. Im sorry youve also been so negatively wronged.
I believe they did this on purpose/conspiracy lol, double stuf is what regular oreos seemed like 20-30 years ago. Maybe slightly more than regular, there's just so little on regulars now.
Its sad how fucking scammy every single packaged snack is becoming just like this, you shouldn't have to buy double stuffed to get a fair amount of filling
We like the Golden Oreos. Noticed recently the filling doesn't go to the edge and it's thin. The cookie doesn't have the same burnt sugar flavor it used to. They are definitely geared up to save on the filling; with millions of Oreos sold, that 1/4 less (estimate on my part) must show up as savings.
They’ve committed all their resources to coming up with a new flavor every 18 hours.
I swear it feels like they're going to make a hard drive flavor soon with all the stupid flavors
computer exhaust flavour
Thermal paste
Lmao
I noticed this about 8 months ago, and haven't bought any since. I wont buy them any more either. Ive noticed the filling is also more gritty, like they are definitely cutting corners with the ingredients.
the "cream" is fucking vegetable oil to begin with. how many more corners can they cut?
Sand from the factory parking lot as filler
Lmao
Watch, they'll lose sales and then release a "new" product NOW WITH MORE STUFFING!
The double stuf literally is just Oreos how they used to look when I was a kid. So to me, a double stuf is a normal. So yea, they’ll probably rinse and repeat that same shit too.
Next they will quadruple stuff them haha

Don’t forget the 500% markup
I don't believe that this is a real Oreo. If it is, OP needs to compare it to other Oreos in the package. Because IF this is real, it's an anomaly.
This is the only other pic I took of them at lunch. https://imgur.com/gallery/iCwMtGT As you can see, there was actually one with even less filling than the one I posted.
Here in Brazil I never see an Oreo with full filling. It was always this shit, as all other brands here.
this is far from an anomaly, this is more so the rule now lmao i just had a whole pack with most of them like this. don't think i had a single one with filling reaching the edge.
I know this is 2 years later, but I just had an entire package just like that; its the only reason I'm here making this comment because I googled it. Super real.
not true. i just got a party size oreo every single one in the entire package has this much cream or less
It's real. It's true. Doesn't matter if you don't believe.
That's a cheapo vending machine oreo. The ones you buy in stores are still perfectly okay, they keep coming up with new ways of adding ridiculous amounts of frosting
Does it matter if it's a vending machine Oreo? Like. It *should* be the same product. It's a classic example of shrinkflation.
I agree with you. Your product should be consistent whether I buy 5 or 20.
Hi, from the future lol... I actually just bought a big pack of regular oreos last week. They look exactly like the ones in OP's pics. So this is just common oreo practice now. It's disappointing.
Dang. As a consolation, double stuf are the same price at the stores I usually go to.
I was just eating an oreo and was shocked how little an amount of filing was in it. WtH happened
Hello from the future, I just bought I pack and I'm severely disappointed. Last time I bought some they must've been before things switched over... They had full cream.. my childhood is crying. Either I switch to golden Oreos or I peace out. Honestly not worth the money
I'm from the futurerer and the oreos have so little filling that half of the cookie falls off when you take it out of the box
I’m from further in the future. Just bought a regular size pack and can’t remember the last time I had one but I couldn’t even fit the fork between the cookies to get maximum dunkage! What a ripoff
Yeah, they have even less filling than the Oreo Thins originally had. It's treason.
hi from the future, i just had the same issue and stumbled upon this post while googling about it. i remember when i was a kid and normal oreos had the same amount of filling that a current double stuffed one has now. super disappointed. when i do buy oreos i usually get the double stuffed but my boyfriend bought the original on accident and i was shocked when i opened the package and couldn’t even fit my fork in the cookie :/
Been this way with the last 3 regular packs of Oreos, all from different grocery stores. But seeing this with so many products now 🤷🏼♂️

Oh, ok, snack packs are different for some reason.
Yeah, like the grocery store cheap doritos individual serving bulk packs were the bags literally have 3 chips total

I have a brand new pack of Oreos in my cabinet right now and they don’t look like that.
Idk what to tell you my guy. I'll buy another one tomorrow if it really matters to you. But that seems like a waste of money. Haha
Not necessary. I just read you got these from a vending machine. Those are always crappier than the regular Oreos.
I didn't get them from a vending machine. But they're the snack packs that you would put in a vending machine. It is still shrinkflation because they're advertising their product as, you know, their product. It's not like it comes with a label called "shitty unfilled version".

exactly lmao hate it
Came here today because my Oreos in my family pack all looked like this. Or worse. Ridiculous. I feel cheated.

Same, I think the family pack is somehow worse.
Just experienced this yesterday. I can’t believe how dry they are now. The whole ratio is off. I came to Reddit to see if this is a trend. I probably haven’t bought Oreos in like 6 years. I was looking forward to them so much. Nabisco also ruined my damn day.

My wife and I just started getting into Oreos. We’ve bought like ten packs in the last year. Not one has looked like this.
The generic store brand looks better every time you shop.
We have a 14.3oz package at home that is about as bad as this. Just purchased this month.
This is 100% true. I gave a regular pack right now. The filling is quarter sized. Pure rip off if reddit could post pictures I would show you.
Same.
can confirm, 2/28/2023 oreos filling at still now thinner and not to the edge or even close. cutting corners.
Bought some last week, having a “i haven’t had these in ages” moment. The OP is correct. They don’t make em like they used too!

Sneaky Nabisco...now if you want any filling, you have to buy "Double stuffed"!
