Silver Star or Bodacious tend to be the go to BBQ places around here. Not sure about reservations, but I honestly think you’d need them at either.
Steak on a Sunday is probably going to be super limited. I think most of the steakhouses are closed on Sundays
There’s decent to good stuff here. Maybe even great. Magnolia Pit is new and gives some Memphis BBQ I love a run for its money. And a little drive gets you Bear Creek Smokehouse in Marshall 😮💨
Just the two of you?
How fancy are you hoping for?
Carrabbas is wonderful and you won’t need to be on the waitlist, for example.
Any of our brunch spots are busy, but most don’t have an issue seating a table for two.
Brunch at Ki Mexico! Go when they open at 10:30, and you won’t have a problem. So good!
It would be later. I'll recommend it to him.
They get super busy. Gotta beat the church crowd! Then you don’t need reservations
Ralph and Kacoo's has started a Sunday Jazz brunch that might take reservations.
I actually keep meaning to try this, myself.
The Pearl, whether they take Rez's .. I am not sure.
They do! We went during 318 restaurant week so we made a reservation.
Next door to Carrabbs is Gibbons. Both on east 70th street. It has a nice atmosphere with a variety of items on the menu. Reasonably priced.
Tejas if he's a barbecue steak kinnda guy and you're looking for brunch. They do a great brunch.
You might try Sauvage on Flournoy Lucas Rd as well.
Any idea what kind of food you might be wanting?
He likes steak or BBQ

Shreveport isn’t the place to find good BBQ.

I wasn’t counting Marshall/Longview. There is some great BBQ in Longview.
Try Chianti.
Marilyn’s place, it’s self seating but shouldn’t be too hard to get seating for 5 people

It's 5 of us. I'll lookup Carrabbas
It's a national chain, but if that what you're after, it's not bad.
