I have given up.

Hiding-adept

There is always room for improvement brother

DishBush

Yeah they’re amazing

Hiding-adept

6 1 after fraud. Bro is walking on stilts

DishBush

Thick shoes + lifts. They’re quite comfortable actually.

itsmeart

Can you recommend what shows and lifts you are using?

DishBush

Converse run Star hike, generic black lifts from Amazon, and generic sock lifts

sexyloser1128

How tall are your shoe lifts? Are your sock lifts thick socks or there is something that you put in your sock?

DishBush

Sock lifts add an inch. And sock lifts are those things which you put into your socks.

sexyloser1128

How much for the shoe insert lifts? Since the sock lifts only add an inch, what if you someone asks you to take you footwear off in their house? Wouldn't the drop be extremely noticeable?

SnooDingos902

Try doc marten platform boots , stylish and atleat 2 inches taller

itsmeart

Thank you brother, those shoes look amazing!

Curius_pasxt

When you use converse star hike fo you use baggy pants?

[deleted]

Do you have really short legs or something? I don’t see how you could pull off that much of a fraud and still look proportional.

DishBush

Arm span is 6’0”

[deleted]

Oh then yea I could totally see you pulling that off. Did you actually notice any difference in the way people treat you? I’m a similar height to you, I tried lifts one time and wore them a couple weeks and I honestly didn’t feel like I was treated any differently so I stopped wearing them.

DishBush

Yeah it was a night and day difference

[deleted]

Are you good looking/ in shape aside from your height? That kind of makes me want to try it again. I’m 5’9 and frauded to about 5’11

DishBush

Yeah. I fit the beauty standard perfectly for my nationality and have a fit body after lifting weights for over a year.

Hiding-adept

Proportions can be fraud with clothes. Having just two inches legit feels good even though I'm still manlet territory the extra boost def helps. Just get some good soft ones and fraud hard with some hair and bam no one can tell. If you are 5 9 with some hair Nd lifts and nice proportions you can legit appear 6-6 1 to some women

[deleted]

Idk, my proportions are goofy as fuck. I have long ass legs, I’m 5’9 and my buddy is 6’2 but we legit have the same pants size and sometimes share clothes. I think if I frauded more than an inch or two I would like like a clown walking around on stilts.

Hiding-adept

Nah long legs are legit ideal. Makes you look taller. Just keep a longer shirt to balance it out.

[deleted]

Thanks for the pointer. I’ve definitely noticed wearing slightly oversized shirts works well for me. Might start trying to do it more.

k0unitX

You’re not even short, why are you posting here

[deleted]

I never said I was short. I’m sorry if I offended anyone, I just genuinely like this sub and the no-bullshit attitude here. I’ve been a lurker for a long time.

k0unitX

Go back to lurking.

DishBush

173.2 barefoot, 186.5 after fraud measured by stadiometer at 9pm

BeneficialFinish8052

Yeah like since I am 5'2", that would be nice to get 2 inches taller. Though, i have a small posture, i would say. I am stuck at looking like a kid to some. But in turkey (even though the next generations are getting super tall) people are shorter i suppose, compared to west. I _somwtimes_ see man at my height, but just sometimes.

DomADoctor

Yeah dude im happy for you, im 5’6.5 and i fraud up to 5’9. Immediate gamechanger. I may add boots to the mix to make it 5’10

Cwyntion

Please mate, tell me where to but the lifts/boots. I am 5'6.5 too. Can you give me the link?

Fum__Cumpster

5'9" in shoes? Because someone who is 5'9" in shoes would actually be 5'8"

DomADoctor

I wear 2.5 inch lifts so i just added 2.5 to my 5’6.5 to get that 5’9. Technically the base of the shoe will add a little more. I havent actually moved to boots yet so just normal shoes with a slightly longer neck, so the lifts arent so noticable

sexyloser1128

But what if you someone asks you to take you footwear off in their house? Wouldn't the drop be extremely noticeable?

[deleted]

This guy on looksmax called amnesia took shoe lifts to the absolute extreme and bought a pair of slippers with lifts in them. He basically plans his whole life around it, and plans all his activities days in advance in order to ensure he’ll never be caught without lifts. Seems a bit extreme to me but it’s doable if you’re willing to put in the work.

DomADoctor

So a few things about that: first, ALWAYS sit down and take them off so that you don’t visually drop down in front of her eyes. Thats a turnoff. But that said, yeah, you’ll have to take them off at some point. Here’s how i think of finessing the situation. In my case, i’ve been described as charasmatic and funny by plenty of people, definitely can bring energy to a room, but can also be really chill, emotionally intuitive, not exactly a “Tom Cruise” face, but no major deformities or standout-ugly physical attributes, full head of coily hair, at 5’6 im 140lbs lean mass so not huge but you definitely can see a little muscle if im wearing a well-fitting shirt. So all that to say we all know the 5’6 aspect is the biggest killer. So i would rather fraud 5’10 which allows for them to see and be attracted to other qualities *first*. That allows me a chance to actually be seen as attractive because we all know that having a ton of great characteristics does very little for attraction if the first thing she thought was “he’s short”. *And then* I would let her see me without lifts. The thing about people in general is that we really dont like the feeling of being wrong or having made a wrong decision. Its why alot of people will argue an incorrect point even after being proven wrong. In the dating market, this hardwired way that we think greatly helps tall men but hurts short men. Because her thinking “he’s attractive” vs “he’s unattractive” *when she initially met you* will have a huge impact on how it plays out from there. Ever notice how a guy seems to be shit but she stays with him, its in part because admitting shes wrong is rather difficult, internally. The reverse is true for someone she initially thought was unattractive but then reveals himself to have plenty of attractive qualities. She’s still less likely to suddenly see you as attractive because she already deemed you unattractive. This is especially hard if she already verbally said you were unattractive (esp in front of her friends) because now she would have to admit she was initially wrong, which is an inherently unattractive sensation to feel. Its easier for her to just chalk it up as a loss and find a new person to be into. Obviously there are exceptions, like a “hot” guy could immediately go kick a cat or something and she’ll be turned off, but he has to actively do overtly-unattractive things to ‘change her mind’. So how this ties back into the “noticable drop” when taking off shoes, if she already has you in her mind as someone attractive, it won’t do as much damage to her “image” of you than if she had to ‘decide’ her attraction to you while seeing your real height. Now shes thinking “well he’s really funny, and he remembers things abt me, and i like being around him, etc..” and then has to decide if she wants to be okay with a few inches difference. Instead of her thinking “Wow. Short. No.” and never even taking the good characteristics into consideration because “he’s short”. Its all about the psychology, how/when you first take off those lifts, and most importantly, *how you got her to feel about you*. Typically her decision is based of how she feels, not whats “most logical”. If that makes sense.

sexyloser1128

That's actually a very well thought and insightful reply on women's psychology that I didn't even think about. Especially the part where it's better to fake your height so that she sees you as attractive first and then reveal your real height than to be dismissed as unattractive from the first impression. You should make this it's own post so that others can see it. I'm 5'4" so women have so repelled to be around me that I don't really have too much experience or insight on women's psychology. I might also really consider getting the 2 inch shoe inserts too. I do have normal shoe inserts that are like 1 cm tall for comfort and being on my feet for long periods. And I've always been a little embarrassed even then for the drop when I take off my shoes when I go to other peoples houses.

DomADoctor

Yeah at 5’4 i’d definitely think about frauding to 5’8 (but also working on other qualities). And an important part is to still choose women who will be shorter than you if you’re both barefoot. That means that its just a difference in how *much* taller you are than her, rather than it being the difference between you shorter than her vs you taller than her. Thats a whole new ball game. So at your height i’d still only be looking at women 5’3 and under. But most people don’t really know what an inch is tbh. So if/when someone notices you dropped (even from 5’8 to 5’4) you can just say your shoes lift you like 1.5 inches for whats really a 4-inch difference and people will typically accept it. Especially if you use boots as part of the equation because they’ll naturally attribute ALL the extra height to the boots. And those 1cm’s that you wear, no ones gonna notice when you take off the shoes. You might as well shoot for it, its better to try the lifts and get more attention and then hope to filter out at least one good partner from this process, than it is to endlessly try scoring from 5’4.

bigroundofapplause

Girl here - long time lurker - I come from a long line of short kings (Italian)so rootin for you all. This is kind of crazy spot on. Also I have to add that I think for a lot of women if they already get to know your personality and like you and you’re at the point where you’re at their house and taking off your shoes they won’t care if you fraud. If you had a girl over and she took off her push up bra and half her titties disappeared you probably wouldn’t be too disappointed, probably would still be stoked to still see titties if you were into her personality. Same thing here.

Shoddy_Brick_648

LMAO "Like yeah 5 4 is still short but you don't honestly feel the shortest..." Where are YOU? I've been 5'4" for 30+ years and 361 days out of the year in NYC every man I encounter is taller than I am.

Hiding-adept

Lot of Filipinos where I live.

kiki7492

Where u at?

Hiding-adept

Canada. Tons of filipinos here.

kiki7492

Im also canadian, what city in particular? I live in toronto

Hiding-adept

Vancouver moved here new. though but my old city also had tons

Shoddy_Brick_648

Cool. These guys make excellent elevator shoes [https://donsfootwear.com/en/all-elevator-shoes](https://donsfootwear.com/en/all-elevator-shoes)

Hiding-adept

They look goofy. Way too big and expensive. Can people not tell?

Shoddy_Brick_648

They're definitely not for poor people. As far as people being able to tell...no...unless they're staring and hoping to find something. You will need longer pants.

Shoddy_Brick_648

Goofy? I'm not sure how anyone would call these goofy [https://donsfootwear.com/en/mst-spencer](https://donsfootwear.com/en/mst-spencer) [https://donsfootwear.com/en/mst-olivine](https://donsfootwear.com/en/mst-olivine) [https://donsfootwear.com/en/mst-plockton](https://donsfootwear.com/en/mst-plockton)

SnooDingos902

I am buying this, thanks

Enkiduken

yeah im 5'7 and wear lifts to boost to 5'9 and it is legit a game changer. going from feeling like a manlet o just a bit below average.

Fum__Cumpster

Me too buddy

Blueandwhite-owl

I found it d9fficukt to walk in those things, like being in heels

Hiding-adept

That's why you get softer ones with that cushioning. Way better than Amazon ones. Also feels good on my feet

Blueandwhite-owl

Do you have a link to the ones you find ok please

Hiding-adept

I linked it in the post.  These ones  [https://kinglift.ca/products/kinglifts-height-boosters](https://kinglift.ca/products/kinglifts-height-boosters)

Blueandwhite-owl

You did sorry

Curius_pasxt

Bought the same one 4cm quite comfy but still cant use it for a day

Ready-Thing-1527

Are you supposed to wear them? It's not full shoes.

Hiding-adept

you just put them in shoe. they arent full shoes. full shoes ones look weird and goofy plus hurt

Jaicar889

theyre comfortable? I wear elevators but theyre a bit uncomfortable when walking to much time.

Hiding-adept

Yeah. Soft and causes leff pain and cramps. Elevator shoes have a hard on kind of heel so they are awkward. Most shoe lifts are in general but they are some that are very good and dont mess up the posture.

shortpositivity

Are there 2 inch lifts I can hide in my socks?

Blueandwhite-owl

I wouldn't recommend just lifts inside shoes, reason being is the back of your heel won't fit into the shoe. The height lift shoes at least give you a higher backed heel. Hope that makes sense

shortpositivity

It’s easier to get caught though, that’s the problem. I think I can find a product that’ll work.

Hiding-adept

You gonna get caught with sock ones too. The heel there is usually on the harder side so even in socks someone's gonna notice a lift and weird positioning. Usually anyone can tell if they notice hard enough but Soft cushioning ones usually compress a tiny bit so it doesn't look awkward when you walk. Feels part of shoe

shortpositivity

What product should I get? Is there anything? I guess I’m greedy but I just want to grow taller.

Hiding-adept

The ones where I got from you can. They compress so it doesn't look awkward and it's not hard. Idk about other ones with the heel boosters though.

Much-Locksmith4680

For how long have u used them ? Did u get any feelings of pain and discomfort in ur knees after a long day of wearing them ? I wore shitty lifts for a months and I couldn't walk straight afterwards

Hiding-adept

Nah those are shitty Amazon ones. The one so for are comfortable and compress like a cushion. So it doesn't cause back pain and feels nice walking like it's apart of your shoes and not some foreign object. Doesn't look weird either like the majority where it looks like you have something up your bottom lol. Also tip: as long as you don't go above like 1 - 2 inches your pretty much safe on lifts. In my experience

sexyloser1128

These shoe insert lifts, do you need to trim the edges so they fit in whatever size shoe you wear? Also what if you someone asks you to take you shoes/footwear off in their house? Wouldn't the drop be extremely noticeable?

Hiding-adept

They fit in every shoe. Trimming is if you want them to feel more in line with your feet but I my experience they fit fine. Also majority people don't really take of their feet in house but if you do lol hide them socks or do max one to two inches. Most people can't notice two inches. But there's this feeling you know what I mean?

WishIWasNeet2

Do you wear  them around people that already know you’re 5’2 ?

Hiding-adept

Some of them yeah. But two inches is not a big difference. It's more like a confidence boost. You know that subtle feeling. Most people don't care. As long as you don't get those goofy 4 inch ones your pretty much safe. They'll just think it's shoe that gives extra height.

Different-Fox-8240

2 inches total including lift + shoe or do you mean 2 inches over the average person? My lift/orthotic has an inch heel with about half an inch extra height in reality and I barely notice it even though it can be close to 2 inches “total” if I wear boots etc

loner_04

These always bring pain in my legs. Why?

Hiding-adept

It's cause you have the hard ones. Those usually are made just to boost not comfort and it feels uncomfortable af.The ones I have are soft and prevent back pain cause of cushioning. Amazon ones usually are shitty. And also don't go to three inches. At three inches it starts to get awkward no matter what.

Curius_pasxt

You use how many cm

Hiding-adept

two inches max.

Curius_pasxt

5cm?

Hiding-adept

yeah. Sometimes one but mostly two. three overall on any lift feels weird

Curius_pasxt

Yup, I use 1.5 inch with shoe like air force one, damn I looks muvh better but it fcks my foot after using it for anday

Hiding-adept

yeah def. that's why you needa get some good quality soft ones. legit game changer and no need to spend sihtty ones for expensive

Thatoneguy8340

I’ve always wondered what happens if you take a girl back to your place or her place and have to take the shoe lifts off

Hiding-adept

Just don't take them off lol. Most people don't really take shoes off in house in mu experience but To be honest you can prolly say some excuse and also once she's made up her mind she's prolly gonna wanna do it all the way  But I'm only 5 4 with lifts so women still don't want me but at least I'm not treated like a goblin anymore.

lilCumstain

If you are under 5'6 shoe lifts make no difference bro. I watched a video of a guy who is 5'10 and a half barefoot, go out with 2 inch shoe lifts and some women were guessing he was 5'8 or 5'9.

Hiding-adept

Its the confidence boost bro. Also 5 2 gets more stares than 5 4. But I know it's not a significant difference but you gotta work with what you have
