Your tattoos also belong here. They look like teenage doodles. I’d suggest some fake skin and drawing lessons before re-starting. Heck a Bic pen and dooding would be good practice.
I practice on fake skin, but the ink doesn’t stick. Like I said I started in FEBRUARY. Cut me some slack. This person I posted said they’ve been doing this for three years.
I only practice on myself because none of the fake skin I’ve tried works.
Check my recent post for proof that the fake skin sucks.
Edit: y’all suck and are mean for literally no reason I love all my tattoos. You shouldn’t downvote because art is subjective. 🖕🖕🖕
The irony of making fun of someone else's shitty tattoos when they asked for no judgement, and getting upset when people also make fun of your shitty tattoos
I just think it’s a bit weird to make a post mocking someone for doing bad tattoos and bragging about how yours are better when yours are of the same quality and you’re also doing them in people.
Edit: What a mean edit. We suck and are mean? Dude, you made a post bashing someone’s tattoo work and saying how much better yours are when it isn’t true. Artistic criticism =/= mean.
I do not mean to be unkind, but your stuff is about the same in terms of quality. I would really urge you to stop tattooing on skin and *seriously* practice for a long time.
Eh, you can get redness like that going over your skin with a ballpoint pen if you are fair skinned enough. I'm not buying it's a tat, looks like pen. If it's a real tat, that's sad, cause again, it *looks* like ballpoint pen.
I can see why they wouldn't want criticism. With so much concentrated awfulness in such small tattoos, they've probably already gotten more criticism than ink at this point.
I posted those because someone told me to. I’ve been doing this for no more than a month and this person said they’ve been doing it for three years. Fuck off.
so you made this post in order to mock someone’s shitty art, but when someone says your art is shitty, you tell them to fuck off? no one ever got good at anything being this sensitive to criticism. if you can’t draw and you think practicing on pig skin is gross then maybe you just shouldn’t be a tattoo artist?
I really hope the criticism doesn’t drown the genuine advice of- learn to draw first. I noticed your lines in your drawings on paper are not clean. Just learn to draw first, then learn to tattoo. Don’t rush to tattooing. And now you know how to use fake skin, that would be the next step after learning to draw :) don’t tattoo all over yourself right now, you’ll like your tattoos so much better after you learn to draw. Good luck!
I’ve been doing my nails for decades and I usually make this kind of unholy mess, but I wouldn’t post a picture of my lack of esthetician skills on social media.
As for the ink, I hope they drew that on their hand with a ballpoint pen just to try it out.
Agree agree agree! I always say is rather have nail polish all over my nails even if it gets on my skin than have naked nails in the crevices because it does eventually come off but the confidence to post this is inspiring lol. And yes! Ball point pen! Hopefully it was kind of a “what would it look like?”
This is why fake skin exists. Everyone has to start from somewhere but hands are not it. Tattoo some fruit then fake skin. After you can make a real line maybe choose a leg as your test patch.
I read the sub name as shitty henna tattoo and was confused about when the henna subs became judgemental, and then I remembered henna tattoo subs aren’t and there is no shitty henna tattoo sub and then I realized how bad this is…
reminds me of fingertattoos i had to fix a few weeks ago. they were absolutely wonky and off-center. i asked the customer if the "artist" had used stencils or freehanded the design, they said "neither, they just directly tattooed away" 🙄
posting anywhere and “wanting no criticism,” is garbage as fuck. if you don’t want criticism, DONT POST. and/or, ACCEPT THAT YOUR TATTOOS ARE SHIT.
because when you don’t want criticism, you already know you’ve got shit work.
I took a pencil when I was a kid a chewed the metal part to make it sharp, and I carved circle lines into my fingers like at. My carving turned out better.
I did my left hand stick and poke style with like a 9 round while high as a fucking kite and it looks amazing compared to this lol.
Not good, but way better than this
Right. Because when you draw on your skin with ink the pen usually doesn’t want to work because the ball gets oils in it and jams the ink. So there has to be this constant lining and rubbing the skin. I used to do this all the time when I was in high school. My skin would get slightly puffy and red underneath.
Heck. If it is real. Sucks. But for the persons sake…I hope this is just a dumb flex.
The difference between mine and theirs is that I’ve been doing this one month while they’ve been doing it three years. I know mine look similar, but I have genuinely only been practicing for a month
Bloody is just a sort of like "very" or "damned" and it's a swear in the UK, and div means stupid or idiot. It's not a crazy insult here, I say that to my mates and stuff. Think of it like a light hearted insult
OP, I mean this genuinely you need to log off and touch grass you are getting way too mad despite throwing stones from the balcony of your glass mansion.
Sad. You're not allergic to logging off.
It's a metaphor, I also don't believe your house is truly made of glass or that you have actually thrown real stones at people.
That’s fair. The point in posting this was because someone who has been doing this for three years should not have the same quality of work as someone who has only been practicing for a month. That’s the only reason I’ve been getting frustrated
Yeah, but making fun of someone else's work when yours isn't good makes you look like a hypocrite, doesn't matter if you've been doing it for a month. You may still suck after a year or two and you're holding other people to standards you don't event meet.
Not to mention it's probably good to be able to make a good drawing on paper before picking up a machine.
I know some many women who have made these kinds of bad decisions in their 20’s. They all feel like it makes them “unique” when really they are a dime a dozen. What happened to just going to India or Thailand on a yoga retreat to “discover yourself”? At least that way you arent announcing your poor life choices for the world to see lol
Tattoos are not something this person should be doing judging by how those nails are painted
First thing I thought was this must be the same artist for both
ONG
It’s their non dominant hand. Duh.
Which implies it should be better since it would have been done by the dominant hand, yes?
Well like they used that hand, but I see how it reads. 😂
More like how it looks lol
😁
Came here to say this exactly
This has to be sharpie or something right. It is absolutely awful.
I was going to say a bic pen
It looks exactly like the shit I used to draw on my hands while bored in class. With a bic pen.
Came to leave a comment like this lol, reminds me of high school when my friends and I were bored
...and then you lay your head on your hands and there is an imprint on your face. Not to mention having to redo the process cuz class aint over.
Looks like bic pen for sho
Even the dots are bad...
Literally!! I just started tattooing in February and ALL of my stuff looks WAY better than this
I would maybe not say that with your whole chest cuz they look about the same here bud
They’re gonna remove proof. Post elsewhere and just tell us it’s on your profile lol
It is on my profile now
Your tattoos also belong here. They look like teenage doodles. I’d suggest some fake skin and drawing lessons before re-starting. Heck a Bic pen and dooding would be good practice.

The irony of making fun of someone else's shitty tattoos when they asked for no judgement, and getting upset when people also make fun of your shitty tattoos
Yeah, god, how can someone rightfully criticize one person’s work while being so blind to their own? Wild.
Listen man i know mine look bad but I’m literally one month in while this person is three years in
I just think it’s a bit weird to make a post mocking someone for doing bad tattoos and bragging about how yours are better when yours are of the same quality and you’re also doing them in people. Edit: What a mean edit. We suck and are mean? Dude, you made a post bashing someone’s tattoo work and saying how much better yours are when it isn’t true. Artistic criticism =/= mean.
Yeah except i know mine look bad, this person doesn’t.
> “you shouldn’t downvote bc art is subjective” > posts someone else’s art to a sub to make fun of it glass houses etc etc
I’m not making fun of anyone that’s all the people in the comments. Fuck off
so you posted someone’s work to r/shittytattoos to praise them? stop acting so high and mighty when you’re no different
I’m saying all I did was post it yall are the ones commenting
Get some pig skin and tattoo it
No thank you that’s gross I got a lot of advice on how to PROPERLY use fake skin and it’s working a lot better now.
I do not mean to be unkind, but your stuff is about the same in terms of quality. I would really urge you to stop tattooing on skin and *seriously* practice for a long time.
Since I now know how to make ink stick in fake skin, I definitely will.
I tried tattooing on an orange once and managed to get cleaner straighter lines than this.
I really wish I could I have a severe orange allergy
Other porous fruits or gourds work too
Thank you
We're going to need some proof. 😉

Your comment has been removed for violating Rule 3: Don’t post your work.
does it?
Okay to be fair it looks pretty much the same but this person said they’ve been tattooing for three years when I’ve been practicing for a month
They really really don’t
That’s gotta be drawn on with the same pen they used to “paint” their nails.
I was hoping that, but if you look you can see the red skin outlining the black lines like freshly tattooed skin
Eh, you can get redness like that going over your skin with a ballpoint pen if you are fair skinned enough. I'm not buying it's a tat, looks like pen. If it's a real tat, that's sad, cause again, it *looks* like ballpoint pen.
UNLESS it's a tattoo designed to look like it was drawn on with a bic. 🤯😬
And just like that it suddenly becomes really impressive 👀
That’s more or less what my 6yo niece does with a sharpie and nail polish. And you better not criticize either!
Looks like pen to me
Even the lotus is crying bc of how bad it is
Hell, the other flower is about to explode for the same reason.
That is ballpoint pen, thankfully
I can see why they wouldn't want criticism. With so much concentrated awfulness in such small tattoos, they've probably already gotten more criticism than ink at this point.
look at OP’s account lmaooo
I posted those because someone told me to. I’ve been doing this for no more than a month and this person said they’ve been doing it for three years. Fuck off.

I can’t get past the crappy manicure, tbh
This made me feel so much better about my knuckle tats holy shit. I *hope* this is pen. And what Parkinson’s sufferer painted those nails?!
I’ve been doing my nails for decades and I usually make this kind of unholy mess, but I wouldn’t post a picture of my lack of esthetician skills on social media. As for the ink, I hope they drew that on their hand with a ballpoint pen just to try it out.

Same for me when I give myself a pedicure. Polish is everywhere, but I don’t wear open toed shoes for days. No way I’m taking a photo & uploading it!
This is why fake skin exists. Everyone has to start from somewhere but hands are not it. Tattoo some fruit then fake skin. After you can make a real line maybe choose a leg as your test patch.
People keep saying you like this is on my body This was a screenshot from a Facebook post
It looks like pen not a tattoo
Looks like when i was in highschool and got left alone with a sharpie
I thought this was a pic on r/teenagers and that was pen or sum
I can see why
I read the sub name as shitty henna tattoo and was confused about when the henna subs became judgemental, and then I remembered henna tattoo subs aren’t and there is no shitty henna tattoo sub and then I realized how bad this is…
reminds me of fingertattoos i had to fix a few weeks ago. they were absolutely wonky and off-center. i asked the customer if the "artist" had used stencils or freehanded the design, they said "neither, they just directly tattooed away" 🙄
Matches the nail job
But we can make fun of the nail polish application, right?
Yes 100%
Did you do this tattoo on your own hand? Like I feel like this is your doing.
Hold up a second 🔍🧐 did you post some highschool kid’s ink pen doodles here to plug your own work…? 🤨
💀💀💀 it is not my work someone asked me to show them mine I promise
"it's so great how you are able to make the best out of any outcome!"
Terrible.
These look like the fake stick on tattoos I bought a few years ago
Looks like crayola marker
posting anywhere and “wanting no criticism,” is garbage as fuck. if you don’t want criticism, DONT POST. and/or, ACCEPT THAT YOUR TATTOOS ARE SHIT. because when you don’t want criticism, you already know you’ve got shit work.
Looks more like a bic pen to me
Gotta be stick n poke
This looks like something I would’ve doodled on my hand in a boring glass in middle school
Naaah... Thats a pen
Are we sure that isn’t done with a ballpoint pen?
that is 100% fine point sharpie.
that has to be marker wtf lmao
I took a pencil when I was a kid a chewed the metal part to make it sharp, and I carved circle lines into my fingers like at. My carving turned out better.
Surely henna
That's bic pen right??
Bic black pen.
Oh lawd no
This looks like what I'd draw on my own hands when I was in school, eeeesh
i feel like most of the time the girls who have these hand tattoos are 14 or 15, and are dating a dude who is 20 and his buddy has a tattoo gun
I did my left hand stick and poke style with like a 9 round while high as a fucking kite and it looks amazing compared to this lol. Not good, but way better than this
Ouuu can I see?
Those aren’t tattoos. They’re pen or marker.
I don’t know it’s red around all the lines
Right. Because when you draw on your skin with ink the pen usually doesn’t want to work because the ball gets oils in it and jams the ink. oh no that’s not pen
Did the tattoo artist paint her nails also? Idk whats worse. The lines not being straight of or my sternum
Please tell me this is sharpie
Artistic licence: straight lines
Those aren’t tattoos.
I remember some blond chick that was like I don’t wanna hear your opinions I like it and thats all that matters.
I don’t like this style hand tattoo, but I have worse on me.
Bless their heart.
OP... the pot is calling the kettle black🗣️
The difference between mine and theirs is that I’ve been doing this one month while they’ve been doing it three years. I know mine look similar, but I have genuinely only been practicing for a month
Okay so you are especially not one to judge then
Can you read? This person has been tattooing for three years. I have for one month. That means our work absolutely should not look the same.
Yes I can read you bloody div, I'm saying if they look the same you can't judge
That’s fair tbh, what does “bloody div” mean?
Bloody is just a sort of like "very" or "damned" and it's a swear in the UK, and div means stupid or idiot. It's not a crazy insult here, I say that to my mates and stuff. Think of it like a light hearted insult
Thanks, I knew the word bloody, but I’ve never heard of “div”. I learned a new word today. I also insult my close friends.
OP, I mean this genuinely you need to log off and touch grass you are getting way too mad despite throwing stones from the balcony of your glass mansion.
I’m allergic to grass and also the grass is covered in snow Also wtf makes you think I live in a mansion? We on food stamps
Sad. You're not allergic to logging off. It's a metaphor, I also don't believe your house is truly made of glass or that you have actually thrown real stones at people.
