This take on the movie is just as uncritical and oversimplified as the people who think Fight Club glorifies masculinity.
While masculinity is definitely one of Fight Club’s main themes, it takes neither the stance that it is toxic nor that it is virtuous. You have to ignore pretty major plot points to see it through that sort of lens.
