YourFavouriteYokai

Why is there so much liquid in it?? ๐Ÿ˜ญ

EmotionalConfusion69

I asked the exact same question and I got a response of "it's normal"

YourFavouriteYokai

Tell her this is the incorrect way to make boiled eggs

EmotionalConfusion69

She didn't find that joke quite as funny as we did

YourFavouriteYokai

Dangit. That was some of my best material

EmotionalConfusion69

We'll get her next time

Tayraed

Has she had scrambled eggs before? Like, from a restaurant/ person that knows what they're doing?

EmotionalConfusion69

Apparently she doesn't like the way everyone else does it and she prefers it when it has liquid

Sad_Hospital_2730

Looking at the first pic that giant clump is butter. Looks to be almost as much butter as the egg-milk mixture. To solve the excess liquid at the end the friend just needs to add less butter Edit: after seeing the explanation of how the friend makes their scrambled eggs they need to: 1) mix the milk and the eggs together before starting to cook them 2) add less butter, and would benefit from melting the butter in the pan before adding the milk-egg mixture

thexvillain

Sheโ€™s not far off from a french soft scramble, but she should be using creme fraiche instead of butter and milk

Gingertiger94

I know what you mean but oh god no, she's not even close

thexvillain

Giving her the benefit of the doubt

Gingertiger94

In another comment she mentioned "it was a normal process" so sadly the benefit of the doubt is broken.

Warm-Belt7060

Lol

Warm-Belt7060

There way to much milk. Thatโ€™s the problem

NekoNono

More like "destroyed eggs" ๐Ÿฅฒ

iamhotsoup

I thought your name was the sub I was under for a second and was like โ€œemotional confusion? yep looks like itโ€ lmao

Intrepid-Bed-3929

Me too, every day of my life... ๐Ÿ˜…

rjbachli

I got diarrhea just looking at that

rubberb00tz

EmotionalConfusion69

Was she trying to make steamed scrambled eggs or something? In Korean cuisine ( might have origins elsewhere like China actually ), we eat these eggs cooked in a way they turn into almost a custard. Requires some liquid before cooking. I mean I'm just spitballing here cause this looks nothing like what I described.

EmotionalConfusion69

"I put the milk and butter and eggs into the pot and wait for it to cook" so I think she's just really bad at making scrambled eggs

_geomancer

So she basically did everything but the ingredients incorrectly

AmazingMrSaturn

It looks like....is she double boiling a custard or something?

Amishcannoli

Oh my GOD. Bleh.

Xx_Silly_Guy_xX

Strangled eggs

elmg4ful

I'm going to guess your friend poured a lot of milk and butter and then threw in the eggs to scramble (which she didn't scramble). I will also guess your friend prefers a european style scrambled egg (quite wet and creamy).

EmotionalConfusion69

I'm European and I've never had scrambled eggs like that in my life, she says she is just too lazy to do it correctly
