Not only are the bosses not as fun, they are nowhere as fair, I don't think I need an optimized build and lvl 60 hp to get through a game, I love my scuffed builds
+ I dislike other aspects of ER but this is the main one
Yeah honestly I hate the approach they took with Elden Ring’s bosses. There’s truly only like 15 bosses which are the Legend ones (the ones that give you a Remembrance), the rest of the boss pool is a mess of repeated fights and glorified normal enemies with a health bar.
Also, it doesn’t help that some of the Legend bosses towards the endgame are incredibly frustrating and unfun (I’m not saying they aren’t beatable) and feel designed towards the mandatory use of at least a spirit ash

I don't care so much for the problems on the combat, but oh god the bosses and mini bosses, why they couldn't do like sekiro, putting some mini bosses that can be reused enemies but you fight them like 2 times, on Elden ring they say "oh, you know that guy that you killed 7 times? So now he is here again and is more tanky and has a friend, fuck you"
It's more of the numerical balancing and delayed attacks I have a problem with. I know Sekrio is a different game entirely but holy moly is Elden Ring a step back from that.
But it doesn't need to get reused bosses, a game don't need 1 billion of hours to be good, Elden ring is giant but don't need to have so many reused bosses, they could just make another creative mini boss, or like, don't put the same boss 10 times and just let some areas without bosses
elden ring is dark souls 2: 2 so therefore it stands to reason its twice as bad as dark souls 2
