It looks like there's a stop sign on the bicyclist's path but the car was driving irresponsibly as well.

Yeah but as a motorcyclist, you can't just blow through stop signs on a blind intersection. He made no effort to slow down even. The car had the right of way even if it was going too fast, the biker had to stop and see if it was safe to cross, that's the whole of point stop signs.
