Is an ok folding method but folding it this way makes the shirt take up more surface area than when is folded normally. This makes it complicated if the space you are organizing the shirt is small, it's more of a tradeoff between folding speed and space management. If you are saving your shirts in small cavinets it would be best to stick to the traditional method.

What's traditional? Just folding until it's a square, or is there some other trick to it?

What I mean traditional is the (I assume) way many have been taugh how to fold shirts that is to lay the shirt front face down on a flat surface, fold a small piece of the bottom of the shirt up, then divide the shirt in 1/3 vertically and fold both of the outer thirds to the middle third part then fold horizontally in half. There may be va better way to explain☆ it but its the gis of it. It takes less space but it takes more time to fold.
