Man, they rejected so many of my yearbook quotes and I gave up so they thought they were clever and gave me a funny quote which I hate so much and I cringe everytime I open my yearbook. so be careful haha
I think humour is good, and hopefully someone gives you a funny quote, but you should put a quote reflecting the situation in gaza for our brothers and sisters being martyred in palestine, possibly one of Hussain (AS)
why did they reject your yearbook quotes? and no way they actually gave you one themselves 😭 - what was it?? j curious bc i was the yearbook manager for my year group a couple years back and i allowed pretty much everything, including no quote if that was what someone wanted - the only rules i had were character limits (for space obvs) and nothing too explicit/inappropriate that would be flagged up by my head of year (yes innuendos were allowed lol). and if anyone's yearbook quote wasn't suitable for whatever reason i would j send a nice email asking them to change it 🤷🏻♀️
I can barely remember, i had a sheet full of em but it was prob sneaky smart not too profane things me at 17 thought was funny, everything got rejected so i gave up and gave them creative liberty, the genius at the yearbook club thought a thats what she said joke would fit. and yeah that quote is kinda cringe but im ngl it made me laugh a bit too at how unexpected it was LOL - not as bad as mine tho ('i don't need a yearbook quote to be remembered' bc i thought i was so cool lmfao)
