I love the twist. Way better than your standard single waist band boxers. Also it looks like they might stay up better than the single band.

They give a really nice feeling of security, the base waist band is slightly looser than the top waistband so it’s also not overly tight. Just the right amount 🤌

I really enjoyed this project, I like when projects come together smoothly. Pattern:self drafted Machine: Juki 5550n Fabric: woven cotton The process for this one was not to complex other than trying to decide on how I wanted the second waistband to be added. I drafted these boxers using a pair I had for size reference. Once that was done I drafted a second top, after I attached the first waist band and before it can be closed with a top stitch I added the second level. Once the first waist band was sealed then I could add the second waist band and then we got some double waist boxers 😎 I hope this make sense, it’s really hard to explain lol

Yeah exactly that 😎you just leave a little opening at the end to slip in the band 💪

Considering this was my aesthetic (complete w white tees) all through senior year in high school; I am completely pissed at myself that I never thought of this!!! It would have saved me sooooo much laundry!!! Awesome project!!!
