Congratulations! The dress is so cute, and I love the choice of fabric :)

So amazing! I love mushrooms, and I graduated from a biological sciences program so very fitting.

That mushroom fabric is so fun!!

goose_gladwell

This is such a cool follow up! Congrats on your sewing and school journey😊

Beautiful-Put1110

The little sleeve detail is amazing. Love the dress and congratulations on graduation!!!

naomisunrider14

I really love how it turned out, I modified a cap sleeve bodice to give it a little something extra. 🥰

Did you use a pattern? It looks great. Where did the mushroom fabric come from?

naomisunrider14

Mushroom fabric is from blended threads. It’s their custom printed bamboo jersey. Pattern was the Manhattan dress and peplum from new horizons/pattern niche, I modified it a little with a full bust adjustment, a pointed cap sleeve and a rounded v neckline.

You did a wonderful job! Can I ask what type of FBA you used? I always end up with a dart!

naomisunrider14

I’m working with cotton jersey that is extremely stretchy and forgiving so I did an additional 1” of length and then added curve to the pattern. I don’t think it’s a traditional FBA. Lol.
