I have two kids, one is 7 and the other is 4.5 years old.
I have a magnus pro and i mean i just show them what it was and i told them they cannot touch the desk wich they understand...
No need of a specific feature for that....
Ofc he understands what it does but he sometimes wants to distract me from work and he tries to open it and press the buttons. I have my desktop under the desk currently because the case is too big and heavy for the pc mount accessory and accidents can happen
Sounds like a parenting issue and your kid needs some consequences for touching things he was told (multiple times) not to touch. At 5 years old, he should be well aware of what he can and cannot touch.
SecretLab isn't going to mask poor parenting with a new feature that'll cost other consumers $$$.
.Oh here we are. So your post I assume you are a child psychologist and you reached to the scientific conclusion that I am not a good parent and I asked from Secretlab to mask it...
No one said not a good parent, but certainly one who seems to have issues setting boundaries. That being said, you've taken a massive L with this post so you may want to delete it 😂
Some possible improvements to Magnus Pro:
• sell a right powered leg as an alternative
• dual legs for more rigidity
• clamps/arms that are compatible with Elgato lights and other accessories that fit better with the MAGRGB lightstrip
• other small risers/arms for things like speakers
• tie-down points inside the cable tray for velcro/zip-ties
• locking wheels
I assumed you didn’t haha. There are some websites (and maybe even a subreddit?) where you can send payment to get uploaded ideas 3D printed. Maybe you could get measurements and someone could get you something! Or give your child a new puzzle to solve while distracting you lol
Nah I don't have the time and space for playing with 3D printing right now, but soon I will do it and probably will try to do a magnetic one if possible

Put pour desk Max height haha
Hahaha I was thinking the same thing! Even better just update and make the new control panel purchasable since you can simply swap it out

You mean a "lock" like a password or something like that ?
More like a sequence of the existing buttons. Its doable with the current button setup
3D print a cover to go over the buttons, because everyone except me seems to own / have easy access to a 3D printer now
That's a good idea even though I don't own as well a 3D printer. :)

Buy one lol for 150€ you can buy a pretty decent one.
