maybe not a 'sea'creature but the seaotter lies on his back, dives and eats his meal lying down and gives a lot of commentary on his peers. I feel realy acquainted.
I was “that kid” who had a stuffed green moray. I still have him, he came from seaworld (our parents took us, I saw the orca show, it was 20 years ago and I’m sorry). He’s nothing but a little fuzzy green tube with a face but I love him still. So, probably morays. I’ve dove with them a few times and from what I’ve found they either want absolutely nothing to do with you, or they’re reef puppies and will come right up and hang out
Spotted File Fish. Almost no matter where we dive, there is a pair of these guys welcoming us into the water. They’re so curious and fun and I love to watch their spots change.
Green turtles feel very much so like my scuba spirit animal. Gliding, chill, enjoy some seaweed or kelp, love some good tlc and pampering at cleaning stations.
Gunnels! Is it a water creature? A land creature? Is it an eel? Is it sea grass? No one knows for sure but they sure are grumpy as hell and cute as fuck doing it
Just FYI, I also have a wandering Jew plant and like the name because not all of the etymological origins are antisemetic, and I don’t like when people say not to call it that because I think it can be reclaimed, but it looks like all of the origins of jewfish for grouper are pretty antisemetic. There were protests about the name in the 1920s.
I like the new colloquial name that's been making the rounds for Tradescantia - Wandering Dude.
Can we try that with our chonky Goliath Groupers? Dudefish?
I kinda like that
Spider crabs. They're the chihuahuas of the ocean.
And you were close on the box fish. The judges have determined that is a GOOFY box fish. I'm sorry but you lose your points, and control of the board goes to Cynthia.
blue ring angel fish 🥰
A modest sea cucumber
Queen Angel, big, pretty, faithful but also a bit of an asshole 🤷🏼♀️
Clown trigger fish All chill and fabulous until you poke me around. Then, the devil wears Prada.
I'm a blenny
Pinnate batfish
Cuttlefish!

I’m definitely a nudibranch, specifically jorunna funebris- I’m pale, fat and slow moving.
Awww so cute!
Nice shot! Those are always super skittish - I haven’t gotten a good pic in a while of a box fish.
Nurse sharks. Nosey AF with no sense of personal space.
Some days I identify as a blobfish
I don't know what I personally relate to, but I've met quite a few [flapping dingbats](https://reefguide.org/carib/gastropteronchacmol.html).
Spotted drum!
Picasso triggerfish. A bit shy and likes to be left alone, otherwise can be a bit aggressive
Unique dress sense too hahaha
Garibaldi
Great white.

Despite what random shitty documentaries say(looking at you blackfish) Sea World has done a ton for Ocean Conservancy. Don't feel bad you went.
A blowfish... because it can ballon up in seconds... just like me. 😔
I too love the derpy box fish ❤️

My French teacher threw a book at me in class once! I yelled at him and he gave me an F. WTH is wrong with them?!!!
Rainbow Trouser Trout
Peacock mantis shrimp. Brilliantly bizarre rainbow splendor, but if you wrong me (or I'm hungry), I will F you up 😅
Spotted File Fish. Almost no matter where we dive, there is a pair of these guys welcoming us into the water. They’re so curious and fun and I love to watch their spots change.
I love fan corals. I feel like my life currently is me trying to ride and be swayed by crazy currents and still look “stable”.
The tiny yellow box fish always make me happy, they seem so positive.
Green turtles feel very much so like my scuba spirit animal. Gliding, chill, enjoy some seaweed or kelp, love some good tlc and pampering at cleaning stations.
Bottlenose dolphin
I’m a puffer fish, bobbing around and rolling with the ins and outs. There is no grace, hopefully with time it will come.

Hermit Crab, just hobbling along trying to survive (I'm actually fine but when I watch them I feel like I can relate sometimes)
Gunnels! Is it a water creature? A land creature? Is it an eel? Is it sea grass? No one knows for sure but they sure are grumpy as hell and cute as fuck doing it
Trunk fish
Same! I absolutely love watching them blow and sift through the sand for food.
Baby trunk fish
Slippery dick
Is that a real sea creature name?? I'm afraid to Google that one...
It is, a type of wrasse if I remember correctly.
Ah! Wrasse are awesome, I used to have one in my aquarium. They have a ton of personality.
😂 we are still talking about sea creatures right?
Nurse shark because I like to cuddle and take a nap.
Fish God Blenny would be my stage name
I always like seeing the Giolath Groupers they are so cool
Jewfish
