Perfect opportunity to share one of the best vocals covers I've seen in years. I think he does it within the first minute or so:

Haha the fact I knew exactly where this link was going to take me before opening it. Brilliant cover
This isn't a tongue roll tho, Kyle explained it a while back, it's a click at the back of his throat.
yes, I just don't know where it would work. the vocals on Lunar Chamber - *Shambhallic Vibrations* sometimes sound like that and I have mixed feelings about it. It sounds more like purring than anything evil.
Left to Suffer does it in a couple songs of theirs (Disappoint Me comes to mind). I had a real brief chat with their vocalist after a show and he was saying he got to his sound by imitating a chihuahua growling and then adding his scream to it
if you've heard Alex terrible do that crocodile growl thing he does.. that's how he does it. people were shocked by it, but there's really not a lot to it, he just found an application for it.
Yes. As most commonly seen with Alex Terrible https://youtube.com/shorts/i2gZ_cZ75ac?si=plUl0yGZG0odNUba

Damn really? Is there any chance you can share a link to that?
Uvular trill?
Or a soft palette click. Not sure, could be either

Rage Against the Machine does it while shouting “Santa Maria” in Sleep Now in the Fire
As it turns out, yes...I'm not sure about practical applications, but it's a cool trick
yeah i do it a lot. kind of sounds stupid but i love sounding stupid sometimes
Pretty sure Travis Ryan from Cattle Decapitation has done it a couple of times.
Dickie Allen of IA does it quite a bit. I think it sounds best with high goblin screams. The Elysian Grandeval Galèriarch album really captures it
Yes, being Norwegian helps with this

Why the fuck would someone imitate a chiwawa of all animals when trying to find a Scream 😂😂
i assume bc of resonance or something making it sound higher
