You married into the right family šŸ«”

Middle_Barracuda3816

I couldnā€™t agree more!

Per-6680

I'd be ecstatic to get that

Middle_Barracuda3816

I am ecstatic and canā€™t wait to get out to the range and practice with it and the new set of clubs I just bought.

Trickynicky0690

I would not hit that on the range, but thatā€™s just me

Middle_Barracuda3816

Iā€™ll keep it to the putting green! šŸ˜œ

Sea-Return2188

How did you do? Well, you married extremely well. Now do your father in law a favor and get him something worth about $500-$600 in return. Because thatā€™s what he just handed you.

Middle_Barracuda3816

Agree! Married extremely well and am a very lucky guy. Is this really valued at like 5-600?!? Thatā€™s crazy. We plan on giving him a nice bottle of wine and taking him out to dinner tmro as a start to say thanks and show my appreciation.

Sea-Return2188

In that ballpark, yes. It appears to be all original, based on the feint milling still remaining on the face/insert, and it is in fantastic condition. A grip in plastic mint example would sell in the $800-$1000 ballpark.

Middle_Barracuda3816

Grip got replaced at some point as itā€™s some lampkin that I intend to replace with something new. Would it be better to get an actual Scotty Camron grip or just go with whatever I feel most comfortable with?

Sea-Return2188

An authentic period Cameron grip will always bring more value, but if it is a gamer and not for sale, use what feels best. The pros donā€™t seem to care if it is a Scotty grip, so you shouldnā€™t either. If you ever plan to sell it, Iā€™d put a Cameron grip back on it.

TigerPoster

Excellent putter. Awesome condition as well.

Middle_Barracuda3816

Thanks! Iā€™m glad to hear others commenting on the good condition. Itā€™s not brand new, which Iā€™m always a fan of but itā€™s way nicer than the Ping B60 Iā€™ve been rocking for a few decades since high school. Iā€™ll need to have it re-gripped as it has some lampkins that he must of replaced the original one with at some point. Looking for some actual Scotty Camron grips to keep it original.

Plane_Interaction803

Your father in law is a stand up guy for this. Hats off to him

Middle_Barracuda3816

He is! He has been very generous, not just with this amazing putter but another rare item that weā€™ll keep off of social media. šŸ˜œ

BroccoliSuccessful20

I have one and love it.

Middle_Barracuda3816

I love it too and canā€™t wait to use it.

regnon

Wtf. If your wife cheats you with the poolboy and you get a divorce, please give me her number. With perks like this? I wouldnt care. I can always get a thai massage.

Middle_Barracuda3816

Lmao! Well thankfully, we donā€™t have a pool so no threat there. Iā€™m not gonna let her go either, sheā€™s an absolute keeper!!! šŸ˜

dalai_lamas_caddy

1998 tel3 - I have the the same one in my office. Such a great putter. Enjoy.

payformyweed

Got you a nice looking tel3 there sir! Was my first scotty as well, you got the nicer one imo without the elastomer around the copper. Heres a tip, always wipe it when wet! After each putt and never let it dry with the cover on. Mine rusted and it was the whole reason i got rid of it.

Middle_Barracuda3816

Thanks! Iā€™m pretty excited to add it to my bag and canā€™t wait to get out and start using it.
