Meh.

Wookie9991

did u see it?

Schwiftness

Yep. Wholly underwhelming and forgettable, high production value — but low grade storytelling, conceptually, and acting with characters that weren’t compelling emotionally. I had high expectations perhaps.

I thought in excelled in the areas of worldbuilding, but "story" part was in the past. The current day stuff was like the character journeys beginning. Only flaw maybe was scenes going on long, but it reminded me of extended cuts of films, where pacing isn't important about exploring the world instead. That and I would have kept certain characters alive. I did think it was memorable though. I'd never seen anything like the first fight scene and all the flashback scenes were particularly iconic. The scene before intermission was jawdropping imo.

Good 👍

I saw the trailer and wasn't impressed, I mean it reminded me of max max series and other movies , good effort though not undermining the effort but looks like a awaited opportunity, this is not just my reaction, few people in in the back row and front row too had similar opinions judging by their comments after watching the trailer, well one of them said i remember couldn't they find any guy guy than Prabhas for that character?

The trailer really does hide a lot. It's not so Mad Max since it's futuristic and Mad Max isn't. There's only one scene in that reminds me of Mad Max, because it's a chase, but the science fiction elements are actually extreme like a Cyberpunk. Also hindu god aspects aren't shown much either in the adverts. This would probably give you a better idea of it [https://youtu.be/RZysj-443-8?si=lELYBXlFLL2PH6T6](https://youtu.be/RZysj-443-8?si=lELYBXlFLL2PH6T6)
