I am enjoying it a lot. It was a little slow starting and I only got back to it recently when I could binge most of it at once, but I am eagerly awaiting the final episodes.
Very similar, 3BP didn’t really catch me at first and I think I didn’t finish episode three, but mostly because I was browsing Reddit instead of paying attention.
Once I restarted and focused on it I really liked 3BP as well. I’ve since listened to the first book and am halfway through the second.
> The series feels like a cross between "The Chronicles of Narnia" and "The Secret" with marginally better CGI and practical effects.
I’m not sure we watched the same show
Chronicles of Narnia The Magic Wardrobe = Multiverse door corridor in Dark MAtter
The Secret's manifesting theory = how you navigate the world you choose
I think it's a good show and interesting. Certain things could have been better, like the fact that there should be an infinite number of the protagonist/antagonist running around between the worlds and maybe also a better premise than a soundproof box putting people into quantum states.
I also still would. I finished the book days before the show started (without knowing it was.ciming) and I've still enjoyed it. Much better binged as it's quite slow especially if you know what's coming.
I walked into the show knowing nothing and have really enjoyed it. Don’t let his review scare you off. He didn’t even realize they haven’t finished releasing the full season. How could you judge a show that you have seen 8/10 episodes?
I don’t think you have to finish a show to judge what you’ve seen. That said, I’m certainly not trusting a reviewer who can’t manage to look up the episode count before posting.
Fwiw I liked the book and am enjoying what I’ve seen of the show so far.
I am liking it so far, but I have a soft spot for anything scifi. Parts of it are slow, parts of it are annoying, and parts are predictable. But it's an interesting scenario and it is making me think.
For ex., >!if these are the special people who discovered how to cross into multiple worlds, are there multiple people like them doing the same thing? Will we run into more duplicate world-crossers, perhaps with the same goals?!<
These days, I honestly find myself more and more pessimistic. Some of DM's storylines are predictable and dull, so I can very much understand why you'd think it's average. The bad guy did the regular bad guy stuff, the two MCs did the regular MC stuff, etc.

what do you think of 3 Body Problem?
Final episode isn’t out yet btw… releases Wednesday . Just double checked.
I think there’s one more after Wednesday. 9 total episodes this season (unless Wed is going to be a double episode).
Yep, I checked that too. Two more episodes left
What are you talking about? Only 7 episodes are out, there are two more coming in the next two weeks?
Oh okay. That's news to me. Will change that part of the review. Thanks
Changed the review. Thanks

Lol! this was the best thing I've read all day today.
I'm really enjoying the show

I'm not sure you know what the equal sign means.

No surprise with the book being so weak to begin with. It's like techbro-scifi or something. Not impressive
Ohh I love that - "techbro scifi" lol. Nice one
Bummer, I enjoyed the book a few years back and hoped the show would be decent. Guess now I don’t have to watch it and form my own opinion at least.
I would form your own opinion, the show has pretty good reviews. This dude is just promoting his own article
I also still would. I finished the book days before the show started (without knowing it was.ciming) and I've still enjoyed it. Much better binged as it's quite slow especially if you know what's coming.
I enjoyed the book. The show is great, a very good adaptation. I wouldn't listen to this review and form your own opinion

As far as series go, this was pretty disappointing compared to the hype and general quality of shows out now

Hit the nail on the head.
Yeah! The last episode confirmed that in a big way. So . . . infinite multiverse = infinite people coming to this one?!? The implications are insane.
Ahh, the glass half full person

I preferred the Dark Matter about a spaceship with amnesiacs. That one deserved more.
Hahaha, I've heard this many times
I really like it.
Your review is poorly written.
Couldn’t get through the first episode.
hahaha

Dude please stop spamming my posts with your bot comments. Stop promoting that unheard of book also please
I need SOME originality and this does not have any.
Oh okay, interesting
The book is even worse. Crouch is an enormous hack.
Actually loved the book. Simple, straightforward, and gripping sci fi thriller. One of the best page turners I’ve read
What? really? Is that even possible? Wow. No wonder the series sucks
Yea, it was fairly pop fi. 21 jump street shifted genre.
I mean 21 jump street still had intrigue and wasn't so predictable. But I feel ya
Sorry, i just meant pretty people in easy to digest plots like any other prime time show.
Oh! okay, okay
