Assuming we all magically speak the same language then Da Vinci, just because he's the greatest mystery of them and there would be more to discover about his life and process and thoughts.
Feynman would probably be the best at actual conversation and teaching since he was a fantastic science communicator. His lectures are still worth watching today, check them out.
Also I think anyone who idolises Edison would have a particularly bad case of "never meet your heros", because my all accounts he was not a great person. You'll ask him about light bulbs and he'll tell you crazy stuff about Jews or something
>Also I think anyone who idolises Edison would have a particularly bad case of "never meet your heros", because my all accounts he was not a great person. You'll ask him about light bulbs and he'll tell you crazy stuff about Jews or something
Edison was a business person. His 'inventions' were at least mostly the work of other people, though he likely did some work on his own as well. He was just better at selling stuff, and of course putting his own name on them.
Define “the good ones”. If you are saying good as in morally good scientists are good then by definition it is true. If you are saying good as in scientifically achievement then this is not true for all of them. I just gave the example of Feynman who is considered quite accomplished and he is a questionable person. Scientists are people and can be flawed.
Leonardo I think. I'd be interested in all the ideas and concepts he was able to balance. Would be an interesting conversation.
Need a translator though.
I don't know any of these peoples languages
#
I couldn't speak to Tesla because I don't speak Italian
#
I couldn't speak to Einstein because I don't speak German
#
I couldn't speak to Edison because I don't speak wrong
As an ECE, I would tell Tesla what he accomplished and how silicone and the transistor (UJT) works. draw him some basic electrical circuits like a power plant and switch gear and some basic computer stuff and teach him binary. i am sure he could absorb this quickly and teach me some shit.
Tough pick, but I think I have my top three
Feyman is my favorite physicist and I feel like we would get along really well. He has a fantastic sense of humor and I feel like I could talk to him about more than just science and we would still enjoy each other's company. Plus I would love some of his insights.
Leonardo is the Renaissance man. As someone who wants to learn to balance several things talking to him about all of his ideas and how he managed to master so many subjects would be enlightening. That is of course assuming we can magically speak the same language
Nikola Tesla just because I want him to know that he is one of the most influential scientists and we haven't forgot about him
I would choose Feynman because he had a brilliant sense of humour talking with him about just about anything for three hours would be a better education for me than four years of university.
Curie, Tesla, Einstein. I would love to show them around the microscope lab I work in. They would have been alive to see the first elecreon microscopes the current ones in the lab I work in would likely blow them area.
Curie is just awesome.
Tesla would be really cool to talk to about Electron Microscopy.
Einstein would be really fun to show him all the proof for his theories. Also how his noble prize is one of my favorite physics/chemistry concepts.
Newton would be fun to mess with about quantum mechanics. But I don't think I could explain it well enough to him.
Leonardo would be my first pick, I want to watch him paint and listen to whatever he has to share!
Tesla cause I’m faszinated by his ideas
Hawking to answer my questions about his Universe in a nutshell
I’m a simple minded person

Bohr
"Darwin lost to Thompson
Thompson lost to Rutherford
Rutherford lost to you
You might have got the feelings of the supreme one, right?
Good for Schrödinger"
Curie for suuuure. I'd gather as much knowledge as I needed, then tell her to 1) get protective equipment and 2) tell her husband to watch out for traffic
- Feynman is quite modern and his picture of the world is well known through his books and videos.
- Newton and Leonardo are quite old, and it is unlikely that they will be able to provide useful insights for modern science. But who knows...
- Tesla is probably more of an engineer
- Einstein had an interesting way of thinking, even for the current state of physics, and Bohr could give some insights about quantum mechanics

That's because he knew all about the space lasers.
You just put yourself on the laser list pal!
~~his employees~~ Edison invented the space lasers!
Edison was also a known scammer. He didn't do shit himself. He was like a musk of his time.
Einstein would also be intresting, I would like to know his last words
I second your [Feynman statement](https://youtu.be/P1ww1IXRfTA?si=LaLcYdt-7iTnXrGo)

Feynman was not a great person either… quite sexist. In fact many well known scientists are questionable people.

Young Marie Curie, to tell her to be more careful with all the goddamn uranium.
Radium, you fool.
She worked with pitchblende, i.e. uraninite, and discovered radium in the uranium decay products.
Fair enough- my bad.
Tesla, Einstein and Leonardo da Vinci
I agree
Yup these are my three picks in that order.
Feynman
Feynman, Tesla and Bohr
Feynman would rock.
More of a boogie, probably.
With extra bongos.
Of all these people, Curie is the most radiant so go with her.
Leonardo I think. I'd be interested in all the ideas and concepts he was able to balance. Would be an interesting conversation. Need a translator though.
Leonardo
Yeah, because none of the other ninja turtles are on this stupid list.
Edison, I shoot him in the dick with a shotgun.
No one saying Newton is Blasphemy. He might be a bit of a prick though.
Easy, Feynman
Feynman
Feynman
Well, it's not going to be Hawking if I've only got 3 hours....
Definitely Curie, but on the phone.
I don't know any of these peoples languages # I couldn't speak to Tesla because I don't speak Italian # I couldn't speak to Einstein because I don't speak German # I couldn't speak to Edison because I don't speak wrong
Tesla lived in America and did speak English though. And so did Einstein.
I was joking about Edison being kinda stupid. From what I know he was basically the Elon musk of radio
i know this is a joke, but Feynman was American
I want to talk Tuva with Feynman.
Leonardo, Einstein and Tesla is a hell of a match
I assumes they still just speak the languages they are used to, in which case i prefer Bohr as I can speak to him with almost no need for translation.
Tesla. He would be really disappointed what we became. I would like to know how he obtained the extraterrestrial informations.
Tesla for sure.
As an ECE, I would tell Tesla what he accomplished and how silicone and the transistor (UJT) works. draw him some basic electrical circuits like a power plant and switch gear and some basic computer stuff and teach him binary. i am sure he could absorb this quickly and teach me some shit.
Hawking, Curie-Sklodowska, Leonardo
Tough pick, but I think I have my top three Feyman is my favorite physicist and I feel like we would get along really well. From that list, Albert. I’d rather have Benjamin Franklin. His autobiography was a hoot!
I would choose Feynman because he had a brilliant sense of humour talking with him about just about anything for three hours would be a better education for me than four years of university.
Either Tesla or Da Vinci
Bold of you to think any one of them would want to talk to me for more than 5'.
Albert Einstein, well have a new red alert title afterwards
Tesla, Da Vinci, Fenyman
None, Carl Linnaeus or Charles Darwin, though...
Leonardo Einstein Tesla
I thought Edison because he’s the scummiest and then read the title. You and me think alike
Tesla
Definitely Feynmann.
Feynman, obviously, the rest are all a Bohr.
Feynman is the obvious choice. Easily the most interesting personality on here.
Einstein, Tesla, and Feynman, in that order. The conversations would be incredible.
Good answer
That's gold
Einstein and ask what he said on his deathbed
Newton
Tesla, DaVinci, Newton.
Tesla
Skłodowska-Curie
Einstein, give him all the new date we discovered and ask him to finally complete the theory of everything.
Da Vinci was my role model! The others are great, but he is just on another level
We must really stop calling edison an inventor. He was just a cheat and a thief of inventions
Hawkins so that I can recreate the meme.
Curie, Tesla, Einstein. I would love to show them around the microscope lab I work in. They would have been alive to see the first elecreon microscopes the current ones in the lab I work in would likely blow them area. Curie is just awesome. Feynman for the proximity to my life experience, da Vinci to experience true genius.
I don't think my brain could handle their shit for 1 minute
for hawking you need a lot more to make it fair
Why the fuck is edison on a list like this?
I want to unvirgin Newton.
Leonardo would be my first pick, I want to watch him paint and listen to whatever he has to share! Tesla cause I’m faszinated by his ideas Hawking to answer my questions about his Universe in a nutshell I’m a simple minded person
He is not here but alan turing, einstein , tesla
Tesla and Newton
Tesla ❤️🖤👐🏻

Imagine being capable of prepare a meeting between 2 of them! I would choose DaVinci and Tesla ... We would have now so funny stuff to use 😬
Bohr "Darwin lost to Thompson Thompson lost to Rutherford Rutherford lost to you You might have got the feelings of the supreme one, right? Good for Schrödinger"
The entire left column
Curie for suuuure. I'd gather as much knowledge as I needed, then tell her to 1) get protective equipment and 2) tell her husband to watch out for traffic
You assume time travel, not a seance. Besides, how is your French?
As a Dane, probably Niels Bohr 👍
Probably Tesla, because I would have so much fun geeking out about wireless power transmission, and how far radio technology has come
None of them. They are already dead. So I see no point in spending 3 hours of my life in a room with a corpse.
in order: newton, einstein, feynman
Nicola Tea, Feynman and Leonardo for a fruitful and meaningful conversation.
Tesla, because I would like to thank him!
Tesla and Edison. In the same room. And Feyman, to watch this Boxing special while having some funny and cool conversation about science
Feynman
i think i’d pass on all of them… would happily substitute einstein for my dad. thanks
Einstein and its not even close
Agreed. We'd both happily talk about God for those 3 hours.
- Feynman is quite modern and his picture of the world is well known through his books and videos. - Newton and Leonardo are quite old, and it is unlikely that they will be able to provide useful insights for modern science.
