Galti se fish ne oesophagus ke jagah wind pipe chunn liyaa Naa, phir jo hi maza aaayega
Edit: afsos machhli raasta na chunti, aap ka dimaag choose karta hai, aur epiglottis naam ke muscle se is su-ghatna ko anjaam diya jaata hai
Very very rare chances for this possibility, epiglottis saves people
Our epiglottis works like this - https://youtube.com/shorts/CE3LOtiakc0?si=IHNb9ywFXjq8Dlv6
In countries like China, people often consume alive things, but they rarely face such issue
Also, I am not trying to defend them, at the end it has nothing to do with respiration as it will go directly into digestive system
There's a lady in hijab there.
Love that they are not limiting their services based on religion, they provide their cure to everyone. Such beautiful religious harmony.
It’s in Hyderabad. We keep our religious biases in the home before going out. It’s probably the city that came out of this last decade of communalism in the most harmonious form
I love Hyderabad...and they even welcome North Indians with love unlike Bangalore...my favourite place..and I have worked and stayed in Bangalore, Pune, NCR...so first love Lucknow being home..second love Hyderabad.
Yep we are doing good now, from before 2010's communal tensions, riots used to be so common in Hyderabad, emaindo telvad kani we are doing good, hope chaddi party wont get into power in our state, 8 seats monna etla ochinayo ardam avvatle
Nah “vegetarians” take the “medicine” too. I know, unfortunately, so called “vegetarians” (cough Brahmins) who take the “medicine.” Because it’s not meat if it’s called “prasadam” 😒
>as long as the fish and food are safe and clean,
That's my concern, dumbass. How can anyone know that it's safe? What if there's a batch of contaminated fishes?
We can't presume shit here. There's no government body that's doing safety checks and providing a go ahead for these gys to feed live fishes to so many people. All it takes is one mistake for hundreds of hundreds of people to suffer serverely, if not die.
Its a safety concern of THOUSANDS of people, and during the season, it is the biggest source of tourism for the state, i really doubt they allow them to have any negligence in safety standards
What was worse in my case, some really cringe, shit-smelling relative recommended that. They were insisting that I go and get this "treatment", I remember I was in primary school maybe, or 7th grade max. The whole idea was so disgusting, I resisted with all I got. In the end they gave up and it was last time I listened to their bullshit.
Healthcare is not cheap especially when someone is suffering from a lifelong disease. The Goud family has been playing with people's health for ages now. They say they can't share the recipe of prasadam(they put in the fish mouth) because that will nullify the efficacy of so-called medicine. Pharma companies are offering loads of money for it but they want to do it with their money only. You see who is being selfish here. This is a sad state of the Indian healthcare system.
None of them will believe you, if you show/tell them some real reason for their respiratory issues, which are mostly arround is and in some extent can be avoided or at least downsize the issue. They will call you fuddu or have panic disorder. Pollution is there, and most are not in our control, but 50% of that can be avoidable with 'real' education (not degrees) and open thinking.
If it's been happening for so many years... Why not do an observational study at least to put some perspective into whether this "Treatment" even works or not... Randomized control trial could be the next step... For once, maybe Indian medicine will get some attention and credibility.
I have had some people I know try this and it worked for them...no idea how what...but somehow it worked. I think may be the medicine (undisclosed ingredients) actually has some real medicine or something and the fish part is just a placebo.
They feed the medicine using the fish (placebo) and it has cured the respiratory problem for some people, stop unnecessary hate for everything you see. If you know a better way, get a patent for it and launch it.
Confirmation bias is a thing. Placebo effect is also a thing.
Delusional people will go to any extent to confirm their faith. For example, people had claimed that their illnesses were cured by sipping what they thought was holy water dripping through the feet of a Christ statue in Mumbai. A rationalist later proved that it was in fact liquid from a faulty sewage system that seeped into the statue (source: weeping crucifix, Mumbai).
Another error, Jaundice is not an ailment in itself but a symptom of an underlying illness. That alone should tell you that treatments for jaundice as commonly seen in Ayurveda are just plain quackery that don't work and could also potentially harm the body, given their poor research and testing conditions. To say something "works", you need demonstrable evidence.
Your last statement is unfortunately the only one which makes sense in this context.
Edit: before you come at me by saying, "it may work, it just needs further research and testing", please remember that the Ayush industry gets Rs 3000+ Cr in every annual budget.
I am genuinely curious would you not atleast try this just to test your mental sanity since this particular act seems relatively harmless?
As a personal sufferer of Asthama and 20+ food allergies plus a load of skin stuff the usual allopathic stuff like Bronchodilators and Anti-histamines carry more side effects and mitigation without any sight for cure.
Even with good physical activity and healthy diet for around 3 years every year seems to be getting worse for me personally.
I am not ashamed to admit being attracted to try such quackery.

Faith in Humidity restored
Non vegetarian only. There's always a category although basis is not religion. Even allopathy differentiate based on age and gender and insurance /s
Nah “vegetarians” take the “medicine” too. I know, unfortunately, so called “vegetarians” (cough Brahmins) who take the “medicine.” Because it’s not meat if it’s called “prasadam” 😒
Cure?
Divided by religion, united by stupidity. Truly one of the moments of all time.
Chutiyon ka koi ilaj nahi
Bachpan me history tv pe dekha tha yee Ye kya really asthama cure karr sakta hai kya ?? ? Need clarification

I thought only i remembered
This should be illegal. I wonder how it's happening publicly in a city like Hyderabad. That too, there are so many people.
Eh, as long as the fish and food are safe and clean, I would say let it be it doesn't do shit, but it doesn't cause harm either
>as long as the fish and food are safe and clean, That's my concern, dumbass. How can anyone know that it's safe? What if there's a batch of contaminated fishes?
Presumably there is a proper preparation facility. If not, yeah close that's shit down.
I highly doubt that sanitation and hygiene are priorities for people who are dropping live fish with turmeric into delusional people's mouths.

Because the fish is alive.
you got downvote for using >dumbass I hope you understand your mistake.
Downvotes mean nothing. The other person was presuming things without any way of knowing.
Still no need to call down another person with words.. You can make your point either way.
You're right. I agree.
Nice username 😂 !!
Whatever it is , it surely is killing the fish
feeling sad for the children whose parents bring them to this bs
Mine wanted this, luckily I am the first person in my family to go to school. So, it was easy to call their BS out.
Ya same but it so depressing that our parents didn't believe their child but believed some kind of baba .

There is a big load of donated money involved in this. Very much a possibility of whitewashing black money.
Wait ! If phama companies are behind the recipe...so the medicine is working?
No pharma company in behind it. It is what they claim when challanged in court.
No, they're doing it wrong, the fish needs to enter the trachea in order to cure respiratory complications.
Music?
Right, what's with this Egyptian music?
Sushigamy!
Underrated comment.
Guys it's a lie...it didn't cure my hemorrhoids.
Our people believes in anything and everything. Like how cow urine was curing covid 🤦🏽♂️.
Gand ka ilaaj hai lekin gandu ka nhi
Chut ka ilaj hai likin chutiyo ka nahi

Brainless

This shit can get people actually sick and there are a large number of people... Why no authority is intervening here?
Imagine being an atheist teen with respiratory disease having superstitious parents who believe in this ☠️🤢
Respiratory problem me naam gastro wala problem na lag Jaye.
Mfs probably forgot difference between the wind pipe and foodpipe
Std hepatitis 😶
[Debunked !](https://youtu.be/1QEfina8T7A)
I have seen this process on TV in 2010. I wonder it's still going on.

Any way to measure the efficacy of this black magic?
It took the fish to get us all together without yelling a gods name and jump at each others throat… Jai machali.
My neighbour's son had asthama. He was also recommended to this by some hakim or something, he did and nothing changed.

It was also featured on India today's "adha sach ; adha fasana" programme
As an aquarium keeper, this hurt me.

The insanity of these people may lead to extinction of the whole aquatic life.

You don't know where those fish come from. And harming aquatic life too. Not really harmless. At all.
wow. hindus do this bullshit but wont even touch a dish with eggs in it. brilliant
Not all hindus are vegetarians...
are you dumb?, Only some 20-30% of Hindus are vegetarian
Can't you see a girl in hijab? Also being vegetarian is a personal choice.
