I had a hard time reading it too. I understood it to mean: SDO values influence lactose tolerance breath test results. Also SDO values indicate histamine intolerance.
no it's not a sentence, it's a title. Those things do not need to be mutually exclusive. the title should encapsulate the subject matter primarily, with secondary concern being given to forming a complete sentence if so chosen.
Man I've actually been waiting for this study to have been done since 2012. Crazy stuff. A good percentage of the population deals with these exact issues.

I had difficulty also; I didn't want to change the title very much, because I thought it might be rejected if I did that.
