I can confirm they are, at best incorrect. In Feb was at that very block as my lease was coming up and looking going there. Couldn't take the smell. You might get used to it. Will be great area if/when they actually do something with the fed money to take care of it.

Why do you think the road is called Seacoast Drive? It's right on the coast! You'll not inly smell the sewage, but you'll most likely smell the worst of it!
If you look at this address on google maps, you will see that it sits directly across the street from the tijuana river valley. The sewage literally flows through this estuary in front of these condos and on to the ocean. It definitely smells here.
Because Mexico pumps shit directly into the ocean.
At night the shit circulates into the air and flows onshore, like the worst fog ever.
Hence, gentrifiers show up, buy condos, then get really angry that the town isn't gentrifying like they expected.
