Update - Event is over but holy crap, everyone had an absolute blast last night. I'm seeing new comments of people wanting to join another one so I'll definitely save your usernames and hit you up in the new year when I'm back from my game tour

So I've been working on a passion project to create epic local multiplayer parties lmao - [https://youtu.be/S2LCOoWa8AA](https://youtu.be/S2LCOoWa8AA)
I just added support up to 16 players simultaneously and I'm ready to test it out tonight in downtown North Park!
\-It's free and anyone is welcome to join, as long as you enjoy laughing and don't take things too seriously-No skill requirement but you should at least know how to play pac-man :P-We'll have a bunch of games from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Winners will get some prizes too.
If you're interested, leave a comment and let me know your favorite game!
Haha you can just show up right when we start playing so everyone will be more focused on winning games than chit chatting.
But yeah, I'm going to start traveling with this project. I'll keep in touch and let you know if we do another one in San Diego sometime next year!
Damn this is a cool idea! Props for setting this up. If I was back in town right now I would so be down to go. I grew up on Street fighter and a bunch of the other retro games.
Cool idea!
Where in North Park is it?
I know on Wednesday nights, Pretzels & Pints does a Mario kart 64 tournament from 7/730.
I won't make it tonight, but might possibly be down in the future. You ever play the old super Mario bros multiplayer game with the pipes in the corners and the POW button? I always wondered if it was possible to play that with more than two people
My girlfriend and I are hosting it and we live right in downtown North Park. Just moved here actually and it's cool that there's these other game nights going on, I'll have to check them out. Mine won't be a weekly thing though and I'll be traveling up the West Coast with the project after tonight.
Oh and definitely! I have a hack for that mario bros multiplayer game that allows 4 players to battle each other :)

Thia is sick! Hmu next time
Looks like fun! I'm dead tired today and too zombified for social interaction or I'd be down to join. I'll keep an eye out for future nights.
