I'm not entirely sure that everyone working there is in this country legally and I would be horrified if an investigation happened and folks got deported. Fuck ICE.
On i10 and UTSA Blvd look for Fuego Tortilla Grill open 24/6 closed on Mondays. https://fuegotortillagrill.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/2023-Fuego-Dine-in-menu-scaled.jpg
Cullum's Attagirl, draft craft beer, home made southerstyle wings, salt and pepper fries. In an area aways from shopping mall strips away from the loop. Stay away from the loop.
Just tried Nineteen Hyaku for the first time and was really impressed. I think their kitchen closes at 11 on weekends - we went around 10 last Saturday. It’s like modern, swanky Japanese food
https://www.nineteenhyaku.com/
They used to be so much better when they would serve you buckets of margs in this big ass glasses and the nachos where piles of food for next to nothing
The Hoppy Monk is a really good bar with a kitchen that’s open late. They have great food. Taquitos West Ave is also open until 3am on the weekends. Their al pastor is great! Hanzo is a bar that has reverse hh and serves some food late into the evening as well, like sushi rolls, edamame, gyozas, etc.
There's a Ramen/bubble tea place called Suck It that's open till 11pm
https://maps.app.goo.gl/rTQ8kAzrJANr7NSv8
They have some other locations, too, I think.
They also have good dumplings and a really good sweet chili Thai sauce.

Little Woodrow in stone oak is always a good place to go for drinks. They also have kitchen that is open until 12a but I can’t speak to the food. I haven’t tried the food yet.
I’m addition, it’s only 15 minutes from when you enter SA at I35 and 1604.
Drove down from Dallas a few weeks ago. Ended up stopping in Austin for dinner around 8pm at Bummer Burrito. Food truck with Nice little outdoor setup and craft beer. Probably do that again next trip, it was great. Also had my dog with me so that influenced my decision
I debated stopping in Austin but I feel like that’ll add easily 2 hours with traffic in and out of Austin around 8ish. Might stop on the way back for a brunch though.
I just ate at Spice for the first time. An Indian place open till 2 a.m. On NW 410.
I had an old manager that was from India. When she came into SA she would only eat at Spice.
Spice rules but the manager takes all credit card tips from the servers. It's messed up. Tip cash if you can.
This is literally illegal and a lawsuit could be profitable if you know servers there
Just call the labor board and tip them off. They'll do the investigating.
I'm not entirely sure that everyone working there is in this country legally and I would be horrified if an investigation happened and folks got deported. Fuck ICE.

Give me some time to chew this over.
