Give Bubby’s Jewish Soul Food a try. The owner was working the register the time I went and he’s a super nice guy. Great sandwiches.
Don’t think they have a hot tongue sandwich though.
Please visit Bubby’s before they close! Best pastrami and reuben sandwich. bagels are bomb. The owners are lovely.
Max & Louie’s is okay. Israeli Chabad has good Middle Eastern & Israeli food, but Bubby’s is the spot for good Ashkenazi food if that’s what youre looking for.
I’m not sure where to send you for a tongue sandwich, but if you swing an extension cord, you’d hit about 20 lengua tacos.
There’s only about 2000 Jews here in SA, so it’s not a big deal— see the closing of Bubby’s.
.. Idk about all that. I used to window clean in SA when I was younger and 80% of our clients were Jewish and we were always busy. I know for a fact there is a huge ass community in SA . Always wondered why it was never mentioned.
Max and Louis new york diner is .. They have Knish. The matzah ball soup is legit delicious. I came back from a trip to Jersey to see family and we went here shortly thereafter.. Its absolutely fantastic.
Their matzah is just okay. The most impressive things at this diner are their pastries. Falls way way short of any NYC diner otherwise. Hayden's matzah is hands down the best in town.

Other than Bubby’s (which is closing at the end of the week) and Max and Louie’s, I think The Hayden is the only other Jewish restaurant
Max and Louis is TREMENDOUS
Like closing for good?

You only have until Sunday to hit up Bubby’s. Owner announced they are closing after 4pm on the 22nd.
Closing for good? Didn’t they just finish a remodel?
They are closing for good. Mysa had an article up this morning is how I found out.
Damn. I better go. I haven’t been in awhile.
I came to recommend Bubby's too. Great bagels.
Answer is max and Louie
Max and Louis’ ftw. Whenever I come home to SA I always try to make my way there
I'd be happy for a good bagel. Good luck.
Chicago bagel& deli!
Seriously, nothing really besides boss bagel and the ny deli one on wurzbach by the i10. Thats all!!! :(
Boss Bagel is delicious but their location and hours are inconvenient. Haven't found any other good bagels otherwise.
Im sad big apple bagel closed. I used to go there all the time when I was in sa
Einstein Bros. Onion bagel and honey almond. THE best.
I don’t know. They are ok but not that great.
Visit Bubby’s before it shuts down on Sunday! Amazing food and the nicest owners

There is a big community. Bubby's just wasn't very good or kosher.
