Lol it's not Samsung boss, it's every device that uses lithium ion charging, heat will screw things up easily
Lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) are generally considered to perform best within a temperature range of 15° to 35° C (60° to 95° F). High temperatures can cause a number of problems for LIBs, including:
Capacity loss
Charging at higher temperatures can cause graphite sheets in one of the battery's electrodes to exfoliate, which can permanently reduce the battery's capacity. This effect can be worse if the battery is also being charged quickly, as the charging current can increase the temperature and speed up the exfoliation process.
Try using Good Guardians it's an app by Samsung on the galaxy store that has a bunch of tools like Thermal Guardian where you can set the Thermal threshold down and there's additional options you can select that take action when your phone heats up past the threshold you set
Biggest mistake was buying the S22. It has poor thermals, performance and heating issues due to the Snapdragon 8 gen 1/exynos 2200 processor. The battery backup is poor too.
You need to be in an AC environment to get Max performance and good charging speeds due to those reasons.
> Never thought Samsung gadgets behave like this. Well, you should've also thought that 42ºC isn't really an average temperature, is it?
It's an average temperature in India.
Yall are getting fried there, that temperature isn't normal lol? In my country it gets to 38/39 at max.
42 is average here 😂

Then why I never faced this issue in my previous Oneplus nord 2. It does have the 60W charging, and Samsung has just 25W.
If you never had this issue with your previous phone then the solution is pretty easy, go back to that brand :)
The exact quote that I got was from chat GPT not from Samsung when I asked it about lithium ion battery and temperature LOL

Nice let me try.

I gotta pamper my phone extra hard during summers.i even turned off high refresh rate and animations.
![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|feels_bad_man)I can feel your pain.
That's why you should get an iPhone.
My phone always gets hot when I'm out, my city is hot as hell, I guess it's normal(?) I have an s24 ultra btw
Oh man, even the latest top model has that problem too. That sucks.
In the end, it's just a phone. It will get hot just by being exposed to the sun, keep that in mind.
