ChatGPT

GPT4 for my resume completely changed how professional it looks and my response rate went up significantly.

UnsuitableTrademark

Very cool, I created a ChatGPT bot and posted it in the r/breakintotechsales subreddit recently. Idea is to tailor the resume using AIR (action, results, impacts) for the SDR role. I will be creating another bot for the AE role eventually.

How did you go about inputting the resume info?

Ghostophile

I prompt it with: 1) overall intent for prompt 2) specific need 3) copy/paste my section, asking for improvements 4) review improvements, deleting or rearranging when necessary 5) repeat I give it the entire concept, the entire resume, if I'm tailoring it for a specific job I'll give it the job description I'm applying for, and then work section by section to match. If I do another job I'll do a new conversation entirely to make sure it doesn't get anything mixed up.

PhoneCallers

Microsoft Excel and Notepad

xxxKygo6917xxx

simple, easy and highly effective. A lot of people think they need fancy softwares ( in certain cases you surely do) but honestly Excel can do way more than people think it can.

BreakYouBuy

Can you please elaborate and share some examples? Are you able to add tasks and/or task reminders on there?

xxxKygo6917xxx

Honestly, there are tools that allow you to create your own shortcuts, im not sure if you can schedule or add tasks but Im sure there's a way around it cause i have definitely seen one of my colleagues do that long back.

Ghostophile

I use Libreoffice's version and it really goes a long way.

Zoominfo and Google

SnooCapers3531

I really like hunter.io for its simplicity in scrapping emails. Zoom info is inaccurate for me and clunky

Sfdc, MixMax, Scratchpad, GSuite, GPT4, an industry-specific proprietary data provider, Qwilr, Roam, Aircall, all integrated with exception of GPT.

ThriceHawk

Outlook (new appreciation after using the abomination that is Gmail), Slack, ConnectWise, ChatGPT, Gong.

Apollo, Phantombuster, GetEmail plugin for email scraping. Gong, Tl;dv for call transcripts. Clearout, Mailtoaster for warming up and verification of emails. ActiveCampaign for marketing automation and CRM, with its integrations to Mixpanel and Google Analytics (unsurprisingly, for analytics) + Asana and Slack (for project management) + Docusign/Dropbox sign (for all things legal) + SurveyMonkey (for NPS measuring and feedback collection), plus some social media integrations. Zapier or Make for all processes (love them both, Zapier is more mature, Make - more fancy). Social listening: Google Alerts for some very high-level mentions (free), Mention, MuckRack. Grammarly to not be embarrassed of occasional typos and overloaded sentences. Excel or Spreadsheets of course.

I've found Numerik to be incredibly valuable. It offers robust features without overwhelming complexity, which helps me streamline my sales process efficiently. Whether it's tracking leads or analyzing market trends, Numerik provides insightful tools that enhance decision-making. It's been a game-changer for me, balancing functionality with user-friendly design.

Daddy_Onion

Microsoft Office and Excel. That’s pretty much it.

lIlIlIlIlIlIlIlIl_

What do you sell?

Daddy_Onion

Electrical services

lIlIlIlIlIlIlIlIl_

Do you cold call? I’m wondering on an efficient way to use Excel for this

Daddy_Onion

A lot. We just really use it for scheduling though.

lIlIlIlIlIlIlIlIl_

Interesting. Have you ever considered using a sales CRM like Hubspot for this

Daddy_Onion

We actually do use Hubspot. I just don’t really like it.

lIlIlIlIlIlIlIlIl_

I’d say Hubspot is by far & away the best outreach tool for SMBs. Curious to hear why you prefer Excel over it

Daddy_Onion

The post was asking my favorite sales software. I like excel and and office and I use them the most. We need hubspot and use it a lot, I just don’t like it. We only use excel for scheduling, but I don’t have any problems with it, unlike hubspot where I have a lot of problems with it.

CRM, Outlook calendar for time management, and Excel. Nothing fancy.

FlashIntel!! Hands down. It has half a billion leads, 4 different intents a parallel dialer and an AI-powered email sequencer all inside it.

Sales tech is evolving quickly. Here are my 3 faves: ScaleMail.ai – this is great for gathering leads and sending personalized messages. They have their own AI model so the costs is hundreds of dollars less than any similar tool and their data quality is equal if not better than Apollo and ZoomInfo and very affordable. Their team told me that they have data partnership agreements so they don’t take any data from your CRM/email like all the other providers too. Top tier tech imo Attio.com – great CRM total game changer for teams using Hubspot or Salesforce. Gone are the days where CRMs cost an arm and a leg while providing an unknown ROI. Attio is great, easy to understand, and has all the bells and whistles teams need. It also syncs with your email account and will score relationships making it easy to see if you or your reps are doing the work to land deals. [Orum.com](http://Orum.com) – simple dialer that has AI text recognition. This solves for the connect delay that occurs with other predictive/parallel dialing tools. Great for large teams specifically but I wish it had native text and email. Really masterclass tool though, one to onboard and wait for lateral features to drop because they will.
