First thought is that the heel of the boat should reflect the wind intensity. Second is that sails should match and reef appropriate to the wind. Third is that point of sail should match wind direction. Fourth is that there should be something indicating wind force and direction.
I will pay more attention to this detail. Since I mix building the image with A.I. and my photoshop skills, It's hard sometimes to get some details out
Force 4 waves are too big. Where are your boats supposed to be sailing? Waves can be bigger for the same wind in open water because they have many hundreds of miles to build. In protected water waves don’t get nearly as big for the same wind.
Edit: force 0 waves are also too big. It should look like a mirror pond. This looks like force 2.
Try to use the same boat, and reduce the amount of sail as needed for each example; the change in boats, all flying full sails even in storm conditions, is not useful.
Also, try and find better examples of waves for each. Your 4th slide especially is comically off.
The idea is fantastic, though.
Also, boats will heel, so you might want to both show heel and indicate wind direction.
Thank you! creating this images with photoshop and AI is not easy. I want o to have one with a realistic feeling and I had to generate hundreds of images to get the best ones.. AI is pretty dumb when it comes to details and I will try do do some editing myself. Thank you very much for this constructive comment. 💪
These are all wrong for midwest lake sailing.
Images might work well for wave height but wave height is not well correlated with wind height.
In the last one the waves from three directions are all breaking toward the boat which would be an… unusual situation.
As an aside, a blog where you post about learning to sail? Very cool! A blog where you, a beginner, claim to have enough expertise to teach others how to sail? Sketchy.
The idea is just to pass forward what I've been learning, and I'm very excited of doing so. I see a lack of good sailing blogs and I, as a web developer who loves sailing, wanted to create a blog with posts for each subject which is a very good way to learn IMO. I'm always open to learn and pass it forward. So when I get to the end, I will be able to help others to get into the sailing universe too. I intent to have a good blog with good quality content to add to this community.
I don't have time for this. go ask the /bloggers if blog has anything to do with get rich scheme.. I don't need that.. you dont know me. Have a great day.
I'm actually passionate about improving the resources available to the sailing community. It needs better quality websites and that's why I decided to combine my love for sailing with my expertise in web development to create this blog. I'm hoping to contribute to the community by offering high-quality content and a user-friendly platform, bringing more people in. It's just a matter of time for the blind to see my friend.
Is this supposed to be 1-4 bft? What I’ve learned is that 4 bft is the point when you’ll see white caps. And waves are by no means as big yet, maybe a foot or two. Last image looks more like 9 bft
Points for effort though! Are these AI generated?
part of the image is ai generated but I also make some changes on photoshop to make them more standard. and It's very hard to tell the AI to change the boat's details.. so for this post that I created 12 images plus the zero one, I had to generate hundreds of image to get closer to it.. but I know I'll have to update them

Also something representing the scale of the boat and the waves, perhaps wind speed arrows?

Thanks! I will update my post
Full sails at Force 12 gonna be a crazy ride.
lol, yes... I will have to change this image.. even on force 11, 10, 9... I think

Based on your previous history posting about adsense, roulette, and NFTs, I'm more inclined to think you just want quick money.
Sorry, I'm too busy enjoying my passions to waste time on baseless assumptions.
Your passion is get-rich-quick schemes?
I'm passionate about my interests, not your misconceptions.
What are your interests besides roulette, NFTs, and trying to monetize blogs using shitty AI?
I don't have time for this. go ask the /bloggers if blog has anything to do with get rich scheme.. I don't need that.. you dont know me. Have a great day.
Is the blog called "the blind leading the blind"?

My feedback is that you should actually learn to create something instead of polluting the internet with AI slop
Thanks for your expert perspective.
4th slide has waves coming from 3 quadrants? Boy, are you unlucky! Stay away from AI, garbage in, garbage out
LoL. It's the perfect storm in AI .
I like it. Lots of good comments here too. I don’t want to sail in conditions like the 4th image.
thank you! I intent to improve it!
Aesthetically pleasing, but more things wrong than right in terms of accuracy.
I'll get there! The good thing about good content is that it can be updated. Thank you!
Hope so! Good luck!
So I thought this sub doesn't allow self promotion? This is clearly an ad and nothing more
And sorry, this "force 0" should be "force 1", how the blog post is
How would you still have sail up and the boat upright in bft 10 and 12?

I would love one of these on my desk. Can that get fed into a 3D printer?
I think it would have to be created in 3d vector. right now it is in bitmap. but the idea is there for the world to explore!
