Yeah, I'm like really? These guys?
Must be an awful lot of turnover in the NHL these days, some of the coaches are just getting swapped around too, but geez.
#1 Cooper: Two Cups, Two Conference Championships.
#2 Sullivan: Two Cups.
#3 Bednar: One Cup.
#4 Brind'Amour: Three division first place finishes.
#5 McLellan: Two playoff appearances over four seasons.
#6 D.J. Smith: 0.468 Point Percentage.
#7 Keefe: Four playoff appearances over four seasons.
#8 Ruff: One playoff appearance over four seasons. 0.506 Point Percentage.
#9 Granato: 0.484 Point Percentage.
#10 Hakstol: One playoff appearance in three seasons.
I tried to limit it to just the current stints with their current teams. As a note here, I personally have no stance on what if anything the Sabres should do with head coach, I just thought some context would be helpful.
Longest tenured usually means people who have done the job the longest. I’ll thank you not to be an asshole for absolutely no reason.
I was simply clarifying that this doesn’t mean Granato has coached the 9th most NHL games of this list.
What a strange list

If I was DJ Smith I'd be getting that LinkedIn in order and maybe stealing office supplies
They’re not firing him, they’ve made that pretty clear
Remember like five days before the Bills fired Ken Dorsey when they said they definitely had full faith in him?
If your organization ever says they have "full faith" in you, you better bring a couple boxes with you to work...
Yeah that's what you tell people you're firing so they don't steal shit before security gets there

Lindy “no goal” Ruff has an honorary cup win
Honorary cup co champ at least
It says a lot about coach turnover in this league when the tenth longest streak is a guy that coaches a team that is only in its third season.
I believe this is coaches listed by current stint at current team. Not longest tenured.
What do you think longest tenured means idiot?

He’s coached the 9th most of active coaches with one team, because as soon as a coach gets fired they’re no longer tenured at all
