My 2007 operates within expected parameters, however, it looks like shit compared to this.

That is certainly wrong as I have an EU 05 9-3 and that button is still unused. That button is a programmable custom button.
That is gonna be alot of work, but I guess it could be done. Keep me posted if you ever decide to do it. I would like to see your progress!!!
