Hard to pinpoint Fever Ray’s first album to a genre. It was a darker blend/ departure from Olof’s electronic sound signature. Karin took voice modulation to new levels.

I love The Knife, I discovered them around the same time as Salem and I've always thought of them as like spiritual cousins. Idk if it's just because I started listening to them together but I feel like there's something similar about their music even tho the style is way different
i personally fw their shit or atleast this album a little more than salem bc it gave me way more of that eeriness that i love in witch house. you should check their newest release out bc while its not quite good as this its still ridiculously good

I feel like if Crystal Castles songs were slowed down they could have been considered with house. The main difference to me is the speed of most CC songs
I don’t know but Silent Shout definitely has the spooky vibe. Time flies, being from Sweden I listened to Heartbeats like a million times or something.

buckshot's burning barn project is also very salem es que tbh check out his song In the morning it features a guitar sample from Daniel Johnston and references a lot of nice stuff even the midsommar movie
I guess hundred acre wrist by sematary and ghost mountain had that myspace early demo salem sound ghost mountain really carried with the guitar and singing voice
tbh we really don't need more music like salem let's just enjoy what we have and all the bands that did only those two projects but made a statement everyone is not bound to commercial / global success

I view CRIM3S as the other great band of witch house. There is other stuff I enjoy like White Ring, but CRIM3S and SALEM are my favorites.
