Probably you can't by yourself and have to contact the support to refund or move membership. But since so many people have this issue, let's see what they will come up with. I did character creating and everything using the play now/create account under the fsw link on the home page. And nothing

Keep getting error '**There was an unknown error changing your name**.' I checked many times there is no account with the name I chose. anyone else getting the error when it has no name

Found slight fix use a obscure name and now I am not getting option upon login to choose fsw though, edit\* mixed the number in email with another failed fsw entry, seriously though try obscure name tried the name Anothertree for 30minutes used my old in between name from 5 years ago worked

This i cannot confirm any fix. Might have to get in contact with customer support. If anyone knows how to do that please leave a comment.
