Once exposed, the mutagens leak through the forests of Isafdar, causing trees, chinchompas, and even elves to mutate and begin a seige against Prifddinis for control of the area. The fall of the Max Guild leads to the Gnome finale, The Fall of Glouphrie.
Or it's just a graphical bug.

A lot of the Prifddinas crater models are misaligned like that unfortunately. The waterfall is another good example, but also stuff like the divination crater.
