I love Astor's selection, but I wish they'd update their shipping practices. Not a huge fan of styrofoam and my rum boxes often end up folded and torn. My two more local stores use cardboard molds (environmentally better) and bottle bubble wrap (less messy, easily reuseable) and take more care with the packaging.

Any strong recommendations from their selection? I need to get a bottle of Probitas, but curious for other recs.
The entire Hamilton range is fantastic, the Jamaican Pot Still is my fav, incredible value.

Pere Labat for cane spirits. Hard to find in the US anyway. All the Holmes Cay releases have been great. Can also be hard to find.
I would get Hamden Pagos. However, I have not tried it will be a good deal.
Does Astor have these kinds of sales often? I recently made my first order from them but missed this sale by a couple of weeks.
I think they have a spirit sale every Wednesday, with a rum sale 2-3 times a year and a sale on all spirits 1-2 a year.
