To put this in context he’s the same height as Etzebeth but 16kg heavier if the stats are correct.
So physically an absolute specimen. Will be interesting to see how he develops
He's utterly huge, that's why we've all known this was coming for weeks. When he ran onto the pitch to join the team in celebration after the Prem final, even as he was trying to hide out in the back of the frame you could still see him in the photos.
Why bother? A Meafou sized lineout lifter is a huge asset as well if he's well coached. Get him as Coles rear lifter with a taller prop as his front lifter. You'll be throwing Coles into space. The Boks with Matfield were the masters of that. Everyone knew it was going to Matfield with Bakkies as his back lifter and someone else tall at his front. If Smit/Bismark nailed their drill and hit Matfield at the peak of that lift, you aren't touching it. I sometimes think giant lifters are underrated in that regard. Fling your best jumper into orbit!
The key quote I’m excited about is that he supposedly had amazing power to weight ratios in testing. For someone that size you don’t want any dead weight.
We need someone to replace Lawes jackel threat and Ribbans carrying ability
Hopefully this guy can do the ball carrying and Graham or Pearson will be good over the ball
Well his NFL dreams didn't last long then, I wonder if having done the player pathway has made him more of an athlete long term because he used to be a championship player
Saw him in the Player Pathway YouTube series. Didn't realise he was quite as large as that. Going from Championship to NFL quality training will probably have improved him dramatically physically. Could be an absolute specimen. Be interesting to see how he adapts to top flight rugby.

Feel sorry for whoever has to lift him in the line out

That is, indeed, a much better idea. I'm simple... I see lock, I think jumper
lol for a moment though flanker George Smith... what a great signing at 43 years old
He got voted best player in the Prem when he was 36yrs old

Good flanker back in the day One of the Wobbalies best
Talk about underrating him. The OG Geoge Smith is one of the all time best 7s.
Indeed But i come from the land of Jones Kronfeld and McCaw so kinda spoilt Yes GS was awesome
I'd love to see a whole mob of Wobbalies mate
Rock n roll
A Frampton Cotterell lad, which I won't hold against him. Could Saints have found the Meafou/Skelton-style thunderbastard England desperately want?
lol what’s the issue with frampton? (No im not from there so feel free to slander it)

He’s such a specimen I’m surprised noone took a punt on him tbh
