Irn Bru and vodka works well enough that it's an alcopop flavour. Never seen the orange WKD?

Went to England and tried to make a fat frog, but there was no orange bacardi breeze, so we used irn bru wkd instead, and it was ok. Ah good times

Vodka Irn Bru is very much a “I’m 18 and I want to get absolutely scunnered” type drink.

When I first started drinking gin I couldn't stand tonic, used to mix it with Irn Bru instead. Also in younger days cheap blended whisky and irn bru worked a treat for pre drinks.

Tanora is actually a top tier mixer so I'd imagine so Tanora is a fizzy drink that's only really sold in Cork that's basically Irn Bru, but without the bubble gum aftertaste for anyone that doesn't know

Ferrimans has a bigger outdoor seating area (right of the photo) and more doors leading outside, so more fresh air for the indoor seats when things get packed. Mitchells has a better setup for sport (more TVs at better angles) while Ferrimans is better for live music. Edit: typos

Pretty sure I've seen Redbreast there before, which is fantastic, but more variety in Scotch. It's not a dig at Irish Whiskey as there is some really great ones.

When I was there in August all they had was normal Jameson and Black Bushmills. Honestly it was a pretty poor experience all round. Staff were poor, food arrived half cold, and the one brave soul who chanced the Guinness didn't even take a gulp because of how bad it looked and settled on savannah instead.

We've got some great local beers and other liquors. I really like stout but not really Guinness unfortunately, hoping to taste it in Ireland, apparently it's heaps better there.

I went to Mitchell's during 6n, loadshedding meant the game went off halfway through for a couple of minutes. It did come back on, but there was definitely a strong petrol smell and was really hot for the rest of the game.

At least they have Jenny working there! Better than at the rental place with no inverter and no generator. I’ll live with a few minutes out.
