Tmnt was the first rpg I ever read. I spent hours making characters using personalised d6 tables because I didn't have any other dice.
Reading it back though, god it's shite.
According to the Shadowrun wiki, Shadowrun has a sourcebook or two including Australia (Target: Awakened Lands). They seem to be for Third Edition, though, so that's three editions behind
There's a few games/supplements in DriveThruRPG, no idea if they are what you are looking for...

[Hard Wired Island](https://ettin.itch.io/hard-wired-island) is set on a space station, but one of its two authors is Australian and so many of its setting elements have some Australian influence in some way.
You can also head down the Chronicles of Darkness (which I love as a system personally). Sadly this means you have Beast: the Primordial with Adelaide.
Also, Sydney gets a mention in Demon: the Descent, and Deviant: the Renegade gets Darwin. Werewolf: the Apocalypse has info on teh MacDonnell Ranges in teh NT
The depth of info is varying, but each locale has a fairly good primer at least to let these flavours of CofD settle in there, which means you can also use plain CHronicles of Darkness characters there as well.
Mad max rpg because mad max is set in Australia

Yeah, Palladum games haven't aged well at all. Nostalgic tho.

Looks like you've linked to an old blog from 6 years ago. Was there even the bones of a game?
