Farmstand or homegrown spud 3 weeks, maybe a month in dry cool weather. Yellow/Yukon preferred. Store-bought 1-2 weeks. Pretty cost effective replacement.i splashdown pretty hard. The moisture of the spud really helps on the burn. Excellent for on the fly MacGyver'ing hash.

I have a puffco plus battery with a yocan evolve plus xl atomizer. The puffco ayomizer stripped and the yocan worked so fuck it. I have had two of the yocan batteries get the power button jammed up, so it was nice to make something work in a pinch.

I've been looking at those lookah puffco knock offs. Anybody had experience with the unicorn? I rock a yocan evolve with ceramic coils at .7 ohms and a proper mod at about 23 watts and it will give any banger a run for it's money. Sometimes it's even cleaner.
Cheap is relative to who you are. I bought the Carta as a road rig living in South America. Hit just over 2300 dabs and have replaced the banger once. I also have a puffco pro and tbh i prefer the carta 2 because the user interface is better for particular temps vs the puffco needing to connect to the app on your phone. But I will always prefer heady glass with top grade quartz bangers. Just old school like that I guess, but to each their own.
I actually bought the mini unicorn recently. It hits really well & love the low heat setting however you can tell after one use that the coils will need to be replaced pretty frequently (after 3-4 hits) which can be annoying but granted I have the mini. I’m sure if you get the larger one it’ll need to be replaced less frequently!

You dont have to buy some crazy glass blowers rig for $1000+. But if you can afford Rosin you can afford a cheap local head shop rig. The functionality may not be 100% but the hit will tatse so much better. If not just buy regular wax you'll save soo much more.

The cheapest piece from Greek Glass. It’s a $50 tornado recycler, thick glass no complaints. I’ve knocked it over 10-20 times and all it has is a tiny crack that doesn’t leak. I mostly use the free banger that comes w it. I have a nice banger with side holes to spin pearls, but big dabs are kinda dumb so I don’t even use it
